You should also claim some money back from KTM for the time spent back and forth to the dealer.

Have no words. There are so so many issues of all sorts with KTM simply not acceptable considering the cost.

i can agree that its not nice riding about waiting for an engine light to come on.i didnt trust my sdr,so i never went far.2 years of ownership,1000 miles and had to replace an oil sensor in that time period.i'll never buy another ktm.i dont understand why their ethics are so poor?

I did a demo day on one yesterday. Hadn't rode a cruiser before. Wasn't disappointed by this bike at all. Plenty of power. More than enough. Nice smooth engine.. I think the tourer version would be the one I'd go for. Definitely a bike I'll consider in the future.

BMW know how to charge.

Tracer 9 GT Plus is a cheaper option to this in the sport tourer section, i know it’s no where near as powerful but it is cheaper , has all the tech, also comes with panniers, i would go for the tracer but if i had the money meybe the BMW but i do not have that kind of money.

I've had 4 or 5 superbikes, but I've never been uncomfortable, not once. I drove my 636 from Chicago to Atlanta Ga last summer, I was fine.

I have a 22 GT Pro. I bought it after a 40 some odd year hiatus from motorbikes. I’m 70 and the 70s were my years to be a fanatic. Moved to a mountain town and road mountain bikes and skied for 40 years. Still have my 74 Ducati 750 Sport (that I ride very little, need ibuprofen for that baby). But just wanted to say, what a joy the Tiger is. Especially after getting off the Ducati! I’m in the American Intermountain West and cruising speeds are significantly higher than the United Kingdom. When the speed limit is 65 mph I cruise at 72 (+-). When passing, I’m over 100 in a heartbeat. Plenty of poke. I lusted after the 24s but couldn’t get enough for my bike to rationalize it. All good.

I have a 2019 and only had an electronic issue when the temperature was near 100. Screen went black but the bike still rode.

Boy you really know how to bag out a smaller capacity, lower priced motorcycle, I've never heard so much whinging. I used to have an 2021 XSR900XP and it went like stink and handled like shit. The tracer 700 is easier to ride, better fuel economy, less ass aches, and is more comfortable on long rides.

£600 for more Chinese tat? No thanks. Temu will soon be selling them for £1.50.

How anyone can not be blown away by this machine is beyond me. Yes, balls frying and wrists feeling it, i get it, but my god, this machine has a special feel, and is the sexiest bike ever. I've ridden and raced for 40 years on everything, its a grand prix bike. it's nasty and built for purpose. If you want comfort, buy a Yamaha cruiser, if you want to chase tatoos and dont care about corners or stopping, buy a Harley. I love yamaha, raced them all my life, but ive found ducatti, and it will reward you.

I’ve ridden both and prefer the quality of the streetfighter sp and much more comfortable, the torque of the v4 sp is also a lot better !! BMW sounds shit also and had reliability issues with there engine esp on the m1000rr ..

Well done santander !! If only ktm were not so arragant and took a leaf out of their book. My 2021 superduke r i had from brand new had an issue a month out of warranty, id had all services done upto that point but they said they couldnt do anything for me. I will not be getting another ktm. I have no confidence in them and quite a few dealerships seem to be going under too as less and less people invest in their bikes due to the good old internet allowing riders to let other riders know of the big aftersales problems they have.
