  • @hundun5604
    @hundun5604 Před rokem +3

    Does the yellow flame from the butane insert shrink when the pressure inside drops, (due to usage)? And vice versa with increased pressure after filling? That's normally the case with those throw away butane lighters. That's one thing I don't like about butane lighters. Always adjusting the flame, and it also gets harder to ignite when it's almost empty.

    If you burp it, it should also lower the flame. Also it won't ever be the same windproofness as the original as it doesn't have a chimney, or at least a useable one it just has the appearance of one, also unless you have pressurized in some form (such as a butane torch) to essentially bypass the wind but a butane soft flame lighter technically CANT be windproof by design... The wick and chimney are what gives original Zippos their wind"proof" design.

    My friend just recently has a problem with his Yellow Flame Butane Insert, he use it maybe for a few months as his EDC. The lighter wouldn't light consistently. When I checked the insert, it seemed like there was a problem with the 'fork' (I don't know if it's the right term lol, but it's the button to open the gas/fuel). Have you ever experienced this problem?

Whenever the lighter is sideways or upside down the flame begins to flicker and then goes out. I've tried bleeding it repeatedly and only use premium butane but it still happens. But in reality it would drain so quick... Just the regular size zippo inserts already burn thru the butane so I can only imagine a slim. No adjustment on a butane insert. Typical American brand fashion, always missing something while costing more than other brands that do everything better.
    Same thing with guitars.
    Always coming with a tuning issue, or a bad paint job, missing small parts, bad solder jobs, bad fret leveling, or all of the above, while costing morethan the double of what other guitars from other brands cost that have no such issues. No hate on this guy nor Zippo or their users in particular. Just a lot of people's experience with American brands and products in general.
