Developed for busy professional painters needing the ultimate in quality finishes.
All new ergonomic gun body design.
New ultra high flow fluid tips provide superb versatility across a range of viscosities.
Revolutionary air valve design gives smoother feel for even greater air and paint control for ease of fade-outs and blend-ins.
Simplified, user friendly components provide easy cleaning and maintenance.
Precision engineered using lightweight and durable alloy components for a tough spraygun that is 25% lighter than the GTi Pro Digital.
Enhanced ergonomics combined with the GTi Pro’s legendary fit and feel ensure incredible handling and balance.
A coaxial linear air valve eliminates the need for separate air and fluid control valves for a smooth, kick-free trigger action, easy cleaning and maintenance.
Three advanced atomisation technology air caps for perfect paint performance in all climatic conditions.
T110 - Clearcoat (higher solids) and super smooth finishing
High performance Trans-Tech atomisation technology best suited to clearcoating and glosses.
This aircap brings new levels of performance, particularly in the application of the latest compliant clearcoats.
It also scores highly in its ability to eradicate dimple defects that can occur with low solvent clearcoats; does not have the same transfer efficiency of the other caps though.
As OEM finishes are not that smooth, does not always suit such as when using lower solid technology.
Particularly suited to classic car finishers or industrial applications as it applies like glass.
    Air consumption: 9.4cfm- 265l/min

You got the set up right with the 1,3 fluid tip and the T110 cap. I've used this set up for clear coats for ten years without problems. I've have noticed in our bodyshop that the TE20 can sometimes cause solvent popping with heavy applications with certain clear coats, especially in warm weather.

Hi jeff what clear are you using ? Most of the time solvent pop comes from overloading the clear and or not leaving enough flash off between coats

I recently bought this cap to spray 2k UHS clear. I set the gun to 2 bar or 28/29psi but whenever i spray i ended up qith a lot of air/gas in the clear and then it disspaears after a couple of seconds. Fluid is nornally turned out 2 whole turns. Any idea what could be causing it? Too high pressure or too much material? If i turn the pressure down to 22/24psi then its okay but the atomisation isnt as great

Excellent, that looks like the the clear for my job then. I'm using a Nexa Base coat which says if I use an HS clear then the base needs to be activated. I'd guess this is the same if I use a non Nexa clear? The job is a restoration of an E type Jag with a bare metal full paint so gonna be busy. Hope 'ya don't mind the questions I'm sure there'll be more. Cheers again man, the vids and editing are great by the way.

Is this the real DeVilbiss or the replica? I bought 2 of the replicas on eBay waiting for them to come in the mail. I got one with the T110 1.3 and the other is a HE20 nozzle. I am going to use one for paint and one for clear which one do you think I should use for paint and clear? right now I have 2 Primer sealer guns. I have 1 Iwata 100 for jams fenders and small bumper blends. and I have just 1 gun for paint and clear together it sucks to completely strip it down and clean the paint out of it so then I could use it for clear. I am also going to be switching to PPS cups soon also I do lease returns for a client at home do like 3 cars a week right now looking to get a real garage so I can start doing 5 or 6 a week and start racking in the big bucks

+Premier fake scratch card reaction personally I'd try and look for one second hand first if you can wait and then if not go for a new one mate that's what I did I found the other caps to try through Facebook sites ect and ended up paying as little as £30 for some

I have the t110 cap.. Got the 1.2 and 1.3 nozzles. When do I use the 1.2 and when do I use the 1.3?

    • @TonysRefinishingTV
      @TonysRefinishingTV  Před 8 lety

+Jilma Al-hassan personally never used the 1.2 I used 1.3 for hs clear ran a treat , you could maybe use the 1.2 for ms clear and it's thinner so would probably run better through that for a flatter finer finish

Thanks. Used the 1.3 and boy do i love it. Need to practice some more. Thinking about getting the TE20 aircap also. Any thoughts on that?

+Jilma Al-hassan great to hear mate , tried the te20 once for direct gloss and really didn't get on with it at all tbh mate the T110 was my go to setup for anything I found a slight tweak and it just nailed what I was after

+JOGO hi the prolite is a very very good gun and 1.3 is great for clear personally I went for the t110 and can't comment on the te20 but have heard some very much like that setup
