I have Kooks 2 inch primary on my Dodge Challenger and they are AWESOME !!!!!!!!!! Perfect fit, high quality !!!!!! Been on the car for 4yrs and perfect !!
No, at least not until tuning comes out. Even then we think the lt6 will fare better as an NA car with mild bolt ons anyway and being a whole different engine design doesn't help either as it has its own set of challenges.
Great video and collaberation with KOOKS. Awsome Company with a great reputation in the car industry. I have ther headers and race catted xpipe on my 7 speed c7 corvette which I jus upgraded to ther catless extension pipe. The customer service is top notch and fitment is perfect. A+ company.
I appreciate what they're doing with CNC mandrel bending and love seeing US manufacturing, but I haven't seen a single impressive dyno result from them on C8s, including your own video a few years ago. It seems like the collectors have less focus than the top performers, like ARH, Paragon, or the aFe Tri-Y. Would be nice to see someone do a stepped header with a really nice, premium merge, a la Burns or the investment cast LG copies.
The original 6th gen CSP camaro headers I remember you said fit the best after you guy's tweaked the design and also the install was the easiest out of all the brands. Did that carry over into the kooks or were thr kooks always a decent fit/install?
