- Full demonstration of this cool drum machine from 1994. Includes the factory demo song at the end, as well as all (or most) of the 300 different sounds.
The pads are velocity sensitve, but I turned it off so you could hear the fullness of the kits.

Thank you! I’ve had this one for a few years now and even I haven’t dove deep into all of its features but eventually I’ll get there. The manual is pretty easy to understand and quite helpful. And yes my name is a Russian name, so I’m a brother haha.

I picked one up because I wanted a drum machine that is simple to use. Samplers are nice but they are way too complex to use when you just want to make some drum sounds.
I have two Yamaha RY-30 drum machines and they are awesome. However I wish Yamaha would have made a model with wide drum pads, like on the Yamaha PSS-790 for example. Finger drumming on that was perfect, although it lacked velocity sensitive pads.

不思議ですね、1:18から1:42までのスネアの音がボスのDR550に搭載されたスネアと全く同じ音に聴こえます。違うメーカーで全く同じサンプリング波形を搭載する事ってあるのですかねえ？

There are 50 prerecorded demo patterns and one full demonstration song.
Hello, check the electronic toms, you could record them to listen to them or what other module they resemble.
I think they are trying to mimic the Simmons 80’s type electronic toms, and some other Yamaha drum units like the RM50 rhythm sound module have similar sounding ones.
@@alexey7459 could you by any chance make a video testing the electric toms? Please I'm from Chile and that module was never seen here :)

Seems like most of sounds are oriented to right rather than to left...
The factory drum kits have the hi-hats, crash cymbals, and higher toms panned right along with some other various sounds. You can easily adjust the panning for each drum sound though, so you can balance it out and pan some things either to the center, right +7 intervals or left -7 intervals.

It has a step/real-time sequencer built in the pattern mode as it's a drum machine, but it doesn't have the ability to record samples if that's what you mean.
