CHEO Telethon 2020 - Daniel's Story

Daniel is an adorable five-year-old with a medical history that staff at CHEO recognize all too well. After being rushed to CHEO by ambulance, Daniel was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease that was causing his kidneys to fail. During the 2015 CHEO Telethon, viewers met Daniel’s older sister Lily, who battled the same kidney disease. This courageous boy will come to CHEO’s Medical Day Unit three days a week for dialysis, just as his sister did for years, travelling from Brockville to get life-saving care. This family knows how to face obstacles with sparkle and determination.
