  • Have you ever dreamt of wielding a Viking sword with a historically authentic design? Then your saga is about to begin! The EirikR Sword is made as a collaboration between artisans of Epic Armoury and archaeologists from Lejre Land of Legends. It is designed to match the Osted Sword found in 1887 near the town of Osted in Lejre, Denmark. Due to its pattern-welded blade and the herringbone ornamentation with silver and copper on the crossguard and pommel, archaeologists assess that the sword most likely belonged to a king or a highly esteemed housecarl. As part of our Stronghold Master Collection, the EirikR Sword is a durable, high-quality LARP weapon that adheres to history without compromising safety. A perfect weapon for any Viking roleplayer or historical reenactor, stalwartly standing within mead halls, aboard Viking ships or on the open battlefield. The eyes of the Allfather rest upon you!

This is such an epic video! (pun not intended) Its so cool to have a larp weapon based off a real one for once, I really dig it, personally Im more for the longer slimmer sword like the simple elven designs you have, but this just looks so epic. Might go to lejre some day to see the real one, fellow dane after all :)

Calimacil being their own company, I imagine you would have to go ask Calimacil if they are planning to make anything similar? :)

They already have a viking sword in the catalogue. They have three, if i'm not mistaken. One very simple, another one with gold trim and the most expensive one is extremely realistic and well decorated with gold inlay and engravings

@@Redstomp Calimacil is still an independant company, but they also became a seller for Epic Armoury in North-America after Epic Armoury Unlimited shut down. So there's both Calimacil's own stuff and *most* of the EA stuff on Cali's website now. Otherwise, all the EA stuff would have to be bought from overseas stores and shipped to NA as imports with quite hefty shipping and customs charges.
