- Installing bar end mirrors on Interceptor 650
This is fairly easy installation process and should take you 10 mins max.
The only tool you would need is one Allen key that comes with the tool kit inside the tool box.
These bar end mirrors of very good quality and give you an unobstructed view with the added advantage of being anti-glare. (For the idiots who drive on high beam at night in the city!)
You can get the Barend Mirrors from Amazon US (check the link below), but sadly they don't ship to India, I was lucky that I had a friend coming from there, so he got it for me.
Also the GoPro mic is inside the helmet and pretty close my mouth, so please excuse the excessive breathing. I'll sort the mic position by the next video.

Glad you liked that view. I sometimes go back to it as well by removing the cowl. The GT 650 seat has a better appeal in my opinion. :)

Is that the himalayan handlebar? The diameter is about 12mm and its very hard to get bar end mirrors...most mirror plugs is 13mm...
Yes these are Himalayan handlebar. :) And they have the hollow insides to accommodate the bar end mirrors.

Nice one! I still wanted to know though, are those convex mirrors? And are those legal in India because i heard the mirrors are supposed to be stock only as they have the slot for the mirrors on the handlebars
I think you can make cosmetic changes as the stock mirror give a massive glare at night. If someone is behind you and they are running high beams then good luck seeing anything in front. You definitely need Anti glare mirrors.

There are many available on the internet, but it is difficult to differentiate between the stock and the touring as they look almost the same.
Hey, I haven't yet purchased a touring seat. If I do, I shall get the touring seat from RE only. And that too one that is available with Continental GT650. As that is also compatible with Interceptor 650. Thank you for commenting brother and watching the video.

I ordered genuine RE bar ends on ebay and I can't figure out if they aren't compatible or what. I think they might only work for the continental. There's a notch on factory bad ends and the mirror hardware doesn't have the notch cut out. Please help
The bar end notches can be removed. Just have to work a bit harder to remove them. Else change the handlebar like I did. :)
how's the filtering now in delhi traffic or you just take it for low traffic outings only ?
You mean manoeuvring in traffic? It’s unaffected. But manoeuvring in a congested parking is a pain. Bar-end mirrors or not, the dual exhausts on either side is actually very troublesome for a place like Chandni Chowk or any vehicle heavy area.

Check out the bar ends from Road power customs theyre pretty much the same and they’re a bangalore based company, I use these mirrors on my cgt650

Mileage is around 26-28 in City. I have not faced any heating issue. And I have had the motorcycle for about a year now.

Nope. This is a separate brand. Kemimoto. Got this from Amazon USA. A friend got it.

bar end mirrors are installed with ease on an after market handlebar. In this case, Himalayan.
