  • In today's video i walk you through the process of replacing your BMW F10 drivers front sticky door handle. These handles on the BMW F10 chassis are known to start to degrade and melt causing them to become sticky and leave material on your hands when you close your door. This video will walk you through how to replace this door handle.

    Good video for those that have not done this repair. If your handles are worn, it is likely the center vent is melting. Thanks again!

      @@guppy738 The interior pieces have a coating that deteriorates over time. Some refer to it as “melting.”

    I face the same problem with my 5 series & it was replaced by BMW service centre in Qatar

      Oh nice! Thankfully these pieces are pretty cheap to order online over here in the states, so wasn’t too bad haha

      They're just cheap aftermarket wheels, i believe that they are "niche" brand, they came with the car when i bought it

    Any ideas why the window switches wouldn’t work after reinstall?

      My immediate guess is maybe you didn’t snap the connector in all the way, I’d check that and if they still don’t work after that, my only other immediate guess would either be some fuse blew somehow or the switch panel failed for whatever reason, but if they were working before and now aren’t, I’m leaning towards the connector not being fully plugged in 👍🏼

      Thanks brother I think you’re right. I broke the grey clip that holds that connection in place and after digging around forums others had the same thing happen.
