- Never thought this was even possible, beating the game on hard difficulty with no upgrades probably one of the hardest things I've done in a game and took me a while, even the tiniest screw up can result in the run being over but I somehow managed to get really lucky and get the achievement Hells Angel were you beat the game on hard difficulty and did it with no upgrades.
when I first played Road Of The Dead I've always wondered if it was even possible to beat this with no upgrades since the game plays out with nothing and over time I finally found out that it is but it was really difficult to do it with no upgrades.
Sorry if the audio is loud or quiet at certain points or choppy I don't get open shot , when I edit and listen to it its perfectly fine but when I export the audio sounds like garbage or its 2 seconds ahead and for my 1st road of the dead video I had lightworks which had good audio settings but when I sign in it doesn't work but o well but beside that im still getting used to editing audio on pc.

Amazing truly amazing and also i like how the devs thought of the player not getting any upgrades at the end except for the revolver upgrade but eitherway a nice attention to detail.
The together in hell soundtrack is perfect for the road of the dead 1! I like it!!
I will be uploading another video on this game in the future where I will show and go over what each upgrade does and how it affects your car and gameplay and by showing how many hits each bumper upgrade can take before breaking and how much each body armor upgrade will protect you and stuff like that but it might take a while to make since the video will take a lot of editing and with Thanksgiving being close I wont have as much time to edit

Let me tell you the windshield upgrade doesnt make it stronger I have already test that.
At this point I have all of the clips for every upgrade, I just need to delete my game again and re do some of the upgrades since I missed a few details and edit the rest together. This video will take some time since I have a lot of clips for it but I won't start editing it until I post another police state and dead on time video
you are driving slowly and carefully while i am like "I PAID FOR THE WHOLE SPEDOMETER, IM GONNA USE THE WHOLE SPEDOMETER" and then i crash 20 times and die
this is crazy impressive! currently attempting the great escape version of this challenge and im still getting my ass kicked. all of those fails right at the very end must have been painful lol.
There was alot more failed attempts kinda wish i didnt delete them and turned them into a 3 second clip and made a compilation of it, id say about 50 failed clips i deleted. Also good luck on doing the challenge it was really diffucult for me since i had to practice tunnel drive alot to get better at dodging the debris and bullets. I recommend not going at top speed and mainly staying at 120 or 80kph depending on the area and to maintain your speed more easily i switched my accelerator to numpad 7 to control the speed better.
Also when i first beat the great escape it was a practice run from chinatown and i somehow managed to get lucky and beat tunnel drive and the hardest part about tunnel drive is you have to get into 4th gear at that checkpoint at the end of west ridge and if you fall below 120kph your chances of not making it out on time are high and you have to be really good at dodging the debris. I was at top speed for most of tunnel drive and made it out by 1 and a half second. The shortest i made it out was just a couple of milliseconds and the longest was about 4 to 5 seconds left. Also what happened at 41:56 was just pure luck because for me there was a 60% chance of crashing into the 2 burning cars.
Now government and the military is probably surprised that they could stop every other plain old civilian trying to escape and, despite using all they've got, they couldn't stop this one dude in a mustang from trying to escape.

Before flash got shut down i was planning on making a video where I beat the game in one go with no upgrades and on my past 4 attempts i crashed or died about halfway but on my 5th attempt I got lucky and made it to tunnel drive but since it had been months since i reached tunnel drive with no upgrades and since i didn't practice it i hit the mutant where i crashed during this video when i reached tunnel drive and got killed right at the tunnel because of the nuke, but i might still upload that video clip since it was my closet run.

i know it doesn't matter much now but if anyone is wondering why i drive slow at the beginning of the tunnel drive checkpoint its because on past attempts when the carpet bombing jets show up at that point and im flooring it there is no going back, i have to keep going to get into 4th gear or else i wouldn't have enough time to escape and if i did manage to get to 4th gear the jets would still come at me in tunnel drive and ruin the run by either blowing me up or making me dodge them and crash into something else so i would drive slow and if they did show up id wait for them to return to base then floor its so they wouldn't come after me in tunnel drive but luckily they didn't in this run
I am quite suprised this is even possible. Considering that if you even TRY to beat highway to heck with no upgrades it is very easy to get destroyed.

@@mynamejeffokjeff8143 before i even played road of the dead i used to watch mr noob play and your right he is good at the game and he's probably the reason why i still play to this day but in my opinion this game is awesome and has a ton of cool details with the upgrades and game play which is why i still continue to play it to this day and i think its cool that mr noob made videos on the full saga of the dead series

How do you disable all the upgrades without losing cash?
Well the only way to get rid of all the upgrades is to delete the game which means you loose everything but what i did to restart but keep all of my stuff was play the game on a different internet browser so that way i could have two files, 1 where i had everything and the other where i had no upgrades.

How come you restart from West Ridge after reaching Tunnel Drive? Doesn't that mean that you had to do the entire thing over again to get back to West Ridge?
yeah and the reason why i restarted from there is because if i start at tunnel drive with no upgrades i wont have enough speed to beat it so you need to restart from there if you die so you can reach top speed before the checkpoint and make it out on time.
@@parkourgamer_ev4860 Ah yes, I figured that might have been the reason why. I have been attempting this challenge myself on Great Escape, and on my best attempt I was probably three seconds off when restarting from Tunnel Drive. I am always making some sort of blunder though, so I do think it's possible, just pretty tight.
I did try restarting all over when I tried to get "Nuke Watcher" before, and I think I found that starting from Tunnel Drive loses you maybe a second. I think the game gives you some advantage for not already being at speed.
So if you make it out with just more than one second to spare when trying from West ridge, it should be done within the last second when trying from Tunnel Drive.
Thought I would keep trying atleast until I stop messing up to see if it's possible, especially since I have come close before.
@@arntoskarolaussen7900 the most time i had with no upgrades at tunnel drive was probably about 6.5 seconds and even if your run is perfect sometimes the tunnel will spawn a little bit farther making you not able to escape on time. on a run from start to finish the shortest distance it can spawn is 49.63km and the farthest is 49.69 as far as i know. if you do manage to beat great escape with no upgrades or already have then congrats because it is pretty diffucult.

I turned off the music and editied it in. It would be cool tho of you could switch it while in game. Sometimes id turn the music off and open another tab playing something else while i drive through evans city so it isnt just undead chase you hear while playing.
