What is meant by *heaven* and *hell?*
*Ibn al-Qayyim* (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces. Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and *one of the greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure.* There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure. *Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72]. In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, it is still greater than Paradise.
In the saheeh hadith about seeing Allah, it says: “… and Allah will not give them anything that is dearer to them than gazing upon His Countenance.” According to another hadith: “When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying, and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.”
Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness?
This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that.
So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell?
*Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts.
The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell.
And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
      {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}
Shaykh al-Islam *Ibn Taymiyah* (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Some of the early generations said: The one who worships Allah on the basis of love alone is a heretic; the one who worships Him on the basis of fear alone is a Haroori (i.e., a Khaariji); the one who worships Him on the basis of hope alone is a Murji’; but the one who worships Him on the basis of love, fear and hope is a believer who affirms His Oneness.

I swear the way these lecturers talk about marriage in this life is so depressing, is marriage really that dreadful or something? I though it's meant to be a blissful partnership between man and woman, and he's saying things like "you probably never received a smile at home and never returned one either" and it's not just him, a lot of lecturers seem to make these kinds of jokes. Is marriage really that miserable?

      Equality of Men and Women
The Quran makes it clear that Women and Men are equal in the eyes of God
One of the most misunderstood areas in Islam is that of the position of women in the religion. The general perception in the West is that Muslim women are subjugated and almost seen as property. While not all Muslims deal with women as inferior, this is unfortunately true in some segments of the Muslim world and this treatment is supposedly justified by the religion. However, when we look at the basis of the religion, the Quran, we see a very different picture. In the Quran God makes it very clear that men and women are equal.
[3:195] Their Lord responded to them: "I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female - you are equal to one another. Thus, those who immigrate, and get evicted from their homes, and are persecuted because of Me, and fight and get killed, I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams." Such is the reward from GOD. GOD possesses the ultimate reward.
[4:124] As for those who lead a righteous life, male or female, while believing, they enter Paradise; without the slightest injustice.
      Guaranteed Happiness Now and Forever
[16:97] Anyone who works righteousness, male or female, while believing, we will surely grant them a happy life in this world, and we will surely pay them their full recompense (on the Day of Judgment) for their righteous works.
      Equality of Men and Women
[33:35] The submitting men, the submitting women, the believing men, the believing women, the obedient men, the obedient women, the truthful men, the truthful women, the steadfast men, the steadfast women, the reverent men, the reverent women, the charitable men, the charitable women, the fasting men, the fasting women, the chaste men, the chaste women, and the men who commemorate GOD frequently, and the commemorating women; GOD has prepared for them forgiveness and a great recompense.

Every man and woman are beautiful, just because we might not like that person, it doesn’t necessary mean that person is ugly. It means that it wasn’t their cup of tea.
Also no matter how much you try to make a good first impression on anyone, it will not last very long unless your character is good.
Remember that you’re always beautiful and no matter how much hate people throw at your appearance, don’t care about what they say because they just want to bring you down. And what will be more important than your appearance is your character.
Remember Allah, always worship Allah and only Allah. Do your best and so will I and insha Allah we will enter Jannah.

      {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}

According to Maulana Umar Ahmed Usmani, it is a misconception that hurun means the females of paradise who will be reserved for good men. He says that ‘hur’ or ‘hurun’ is the plural of both ‘ahwaro’, which is the masculine form as well as ‘haurao’, which is feminine. It means both pure males and pure females. He says that basically the word ‘hurun’ means white.
‘Alhawarriyat’ means the women of the towns and cities who are comparatively fairer. The word ‘al-hawariyyun’ has also been used in the Quran to refer to the disciples of Jesus, who used to wash clothes white. By whiteness here is also meant the purity of their personalities or souls.

Please, share my knowledge with your parents, siblings, relatives! If you wish for all of you to be saved! I can give you suras to help you avoid Hell. Send my message to your parents, siblings, relatives, friends and those you care for and the Muslim umma, if you wish to be saved!
Also *make it a daily intention that you do ibaadat* (namaz, zakat, zikr, durood sharif, quran, etc...) and *read the following suras with the intention of sending isaal e sawaab* to your family, relatives and those you care for whether they're alive or dead. Hanafi scholars permit it and it was mentioned in the book Al-Bahr Al-Ra`iq that it is *permissible for a person to dedicate the reward of such these ibaadats to those who are alive and dead*
I am making it my intention so should you.
Before reading these suras, *read Sura Fatiha!*
      *Read Sura Kahf*
If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Sura Kahf, (s)he will be protected from the Dajjal. Read this every Friday!
      *Read Sura Hajj*
Whoso recites this sura would be given recompense equal to hajj and umrah performed from the beginning to the day of judgement.
      *Read Sura Ankaboot*
Read *Sura Ankaboot & Room on 23rd night of Ramzaan* !!! This will lead to Jannah without questioning.
      *Read Sura Room*
Whoso recites this sura, the recompense is ten times more than the number of angels who are continuously singing the praises of Allah.
      *Read Sura Sajda & Juma*
If you read these suras every Friday night, you would hold your record of deeds in your right hand, would not be examined on the day of reckoning.
Khalid ibn Ma’dan (radiAllahu anhu) said, “Recite Sura Sajda for I have heard that a man who had committed many sins used to recite it and nothing else. It spread its wing over him and said, ‘O’ My Lord, forgive him, for he often used to recite me.’ So the Lord Most High made it an intercessor for him and said, ‘Record for him a good deed and raise him a degree in place of every sin.”
*Read Sura Yasin after Fajr and Maghrib*
Read Sura Yasin, Allah would appoint 30,000 angels to seek forgiveness for you at the time of your funeral bath and accompany you upto the grave; and when you are ceremoniously laid down in the grave these angels do namaz and invoke Allah to keep you safe from the squeezing of the grave; and a light comes out of from your grave till the day of judgement. At that time Allah would concede: *“O My servant, intercede on behalf of whomever you like; O My servant, whatever you ask I would give you.”*
If recite Sura Yasin, once in a lifetime, you would be credited with virtues million times more than the number of Allah’s creatures in this world and in the hereafter; and the same number of sins would be forgiven; would never encounter poverty and indebtness; there would be countless rewards in the hereafter; and when you meet Allah in the hereafter, He would say to the angels: *“I am happy with this person, so O angels, all of you, seek forgiveness for him/her.”*
For reading Sura Yasin, Allah would give you reward of reciting the whole Quran ten times.
      *Read Sura Zukhruf*
It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) that whoever recites this surah will be saved from the vermin (e.g. insects, scorpions etc.) in the grave and will not undergo the squeezing (Fishar) in the grave.
      *Read Sura Jaathiya*
Read this sura and you would not go near the hell, and by the grace of the merciful Lord live in peace and tranquillity in the company of the Holy Prophet; all your faults would remain hidden.
Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that whoever recites this sura will not see Hell nor will hear the roaring flames.
      *Read Sura Ahqaf*
Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) said that a person who recites this surah daily, or at least every Friday, will remain safe from all the dangers of this world and the hereafter.
      *Read Sura Zaariyaat*
Read this sura either in day or night, Allah would multiply your means of livelihood, and after death your grave would remain lit up till the day of judgement; you would be credited with virtues ten times the number of blowings of the winds in your life time.
*Read Sura Rahmaan after zuhr or asr*
Do not miss recitation of sura Rahmaan! Recite it often as on the day of judgement it would take the form of a human being and stand nearest to the almighty Lord and point out, when commanded, those who had recited it in their life of the world. Their faces then would shine bright. Allah would ask them to recommend for salvation whomever they like, then they would go into paradise to dwell wherever they like.
      *Read Sura Hashr after asr*
Once you read this sura, Janna, Jahanam, the earth, and also arsh, kursi, hijab, angels, space, winds, birds, trees, mountains, sun, moon would seek forgiveness and safety for you, and if you die on that day or night you would die a martyr.
*Read Sura Mulk after maghrib and isha*
Recite this sura regularly and you will remain safe from the tortures of grave because all your limbs and parts of body would tell Munkar and Nakir that you had been reciting surah al Mulk throughout your life.
Memorise this sura and it would be your companion in the grave and save you from all punishments till the day of judgement, intercede for you and take you to paradise. The Prophet said, ‘There is a sura in the Qur’an which is only thirty verses. It defended whoever recited it until it puts him into paradise’
If this is read for Isaal e Sawaab of those you specifically mention like your family and those you care for, it reaches them with the speed of lightning and keeps them from the punishments of the grave.
      *Read Sura Qiyama*
Read this sura regularly, you would rise from the grave on the day of reckoning fresh, smiling, looking good and join the company of the Holy Prophet (saw), and would pass mizaan and Bridge of Siraat with ease, because the Holy Prophet (saw) and Jibrail would give witness that you was an upright person who believed in the day of judgement and so always carried out the divine commands.
      *Read Sura Naazi'aat*
Read this sura! You would die in peace and tranquillity; Allah would raise you from the grave smiling and happy; Allah would not punish you on the day of judgement, rather refreshing drinks would be given you to drink and then you would be sent to paradise.
      *Read Sura Abasa*
Read this sura! You would come out from your grave, happy and smiling on the day of reckoning and have prestige and high position under the mercy of Allah in paradise.
      *Read sura Takwir*
Allah would not humiliate you on the day of reckoning when your record of deeds would be made known.
*Read sura Infitar and Inshiqaq in your namaz fardh* Allah would have a glance of mercy on you on the day of judgement throughout the progress of reckoning, would not humiliate you by disclosing your hidden deeds, at the time of making known your record of deeds, and would forgive you.
*Read Sura Mutafifin in your namaz fardh* Allah would keep you away from the fire of hell; you would *not be questioned nor would have to pass over the bridge of hell* you would go to paradise directly after drinking cool scented water.
*Read sura Ala and Aadiyat in your namaz fardh* You will be allowed to enter paradise from whichever door your like.
Whoso recites these suras *al Shams, al Layl, al duha and al Inshirah on any day or any night* there is nothing which would not give witness for your recitation of these four surahs on the day of judgement, so much so that your hair, face, blood, muscles and bones would give witness and everything on earth would come forward to stand witness for you. Then Allah would say “I have accepted the evidence of all of you for my servant, now I send him/her to paradise. Whatever (s)he likes will be given to him/her there, and more through My mercy and favour.”
      *Read sura Tin*
Read these suras in your namaz maghrib *al duha, al tin and ikhlaas* This way Allah would send you to paradise.
If you don't recite sura Ikhlaas in any of the five namaz in a day all your five namaz would go waste, rendered null and void.
If you recite these 3 suras (duha, tin and ikhlaas) in your namaz maghrib, Allah grants you good in this world as well as in the next life and forgives you, your parents and your family.
If sura yasin, tin and ikhlaas are recited for a dead person the reward is of reciting the whole Quran.
      *Read Sura Al Qaria*
Recite sura Al-Qaria often times, Allah would keep you safe from Dajjal, antichrist, so you would refuse to the call of Dajjal; you would also not go near the fire of hell, your good deeds would outweigh your sins at the time of reckoning.
*Read Sura takathur in your namaz fardh* forty rows of angels would pray with you.
*Read Sura Fil in your namaz fardh* plains, mountain trees and even the particles of sand would bear witness that you were a sincere prayer of namaz, and on the day of judgement an announcer would announce: “Allah has accepted the witnessing, you go to paradise without reckoning because Allah has accepted you as His friend and approved your deeds.”
      *Read Sura Ikhlaas*
Read this sura in your bed, Allah forgives your sins committed in 50 years.
Read this sura once is like you who have recited one third of the Holy Quran, Injil, Tawrat and Zabur.
If this sura is recited for a dead person the reward is of reciting the whole Quran.
Read this sura ten times while passing by a graveyard for those believers buried therein, would earn reward equal the number of buried believers.
In fact, *making the intention of reading these specific suras and other ibaadats with the intention of sending isaal e sawaab* to those you specifically mention like your family and those you care for is in fact *a must*.
Because if there are those you care for, make this a habit, if you wished for all of you to be saved!
And Allah the Almighty knows best.

What is meant by *heaven* and *hell?*

To those who want to start unesscesary argument in the comment section. Why can't we talk peacefully amongst with each other?
It is wrong just to start in someone because of their name or profile pic. If someone decides to label Muslims as "terrorists" or what ever comments they give, what you can do is just to say "I pray for your well being". No need to swear at other religions because then it means u r just as bad as those who start it in the 1st place.

Your mindset of the aakhira will be perfect and you won’t be phased by the fact your husband has multiple women. Just as the prophets wives didn’t mind one another with regards to jealousy

Hanafi scholars permit it and it was mentioned in the book Al-Bahr Al-Ra`iq that it is *permissible for a person to dedicate the reward of such these ibaadats to those who are alive and dead* I am making it my intention so should you.

Dunyah women: Queen in jannah ( if and inshallah we all will be granted jannah al Fidows) and will be much more beautiful than the hoor al ayn
Hoor al ayn: maids and servants to the men and have no desires of their own
And I think if we ask Allah for our men to only look at us I think he will grant us that I know how you feel my sisters and I understand that jealousy but in jannah we can have everything you want so maybe if you wish for that it can be granted and if another thing is that you won't feel any jealousy or bad feelings though I can understand that might not be your main concern but I just want to let you know.
But for now we just have to keep working towards that reward inshallah we all be granted Jannah al Fidows
I'm sure we will be able to have anything we wish

Remember, we don't know much about Janna so it shouldn't bother you. Focus on getting there first. Also, getting married in this world saves and protects you from alot of fitna It fulfills half of your deen as well.

Also a man can either take the Hour el een or leave them, it's just a choice not an obligation. Also I doubt a man would just leave his wife like this, he already preferred her over the beauty of other women of Dunya, men's lust is sometimes portrayed very poorly, they won't just marry a women because she is beautiful, we are not teenagers.

What even? I never really understood how this big reward that Allah has promised muslim men with works. I once asked my mom "If dad will be with three other very beautiful women, then what about us? What about you?" I'd be raging in anger and jealousy not only because she is there as a gift from Allah for him but also because she is far more beautiful than I could imagine myself looking whilst being in my best conditions.
I saw a bit of sadness in my mom's eyes but she quickly pulled a smiling face while saying jokingly "Who cares? As long as we are in Jannah and with Allah, nothing else matters..let him be"
I know that mom is very believing in everything without really asking about the reason unlike me. But in Jannah everyone will be satisfied, now I don't know how but sure Allah does.
Not only talking about life in Jannah, even when marrying, I feel like men tend to accept nonchalantly thinking that this is just temporary and that he'll get a better wife and not only 1 but 3. How depressing.

It's a few months late but essentially anything you want you will get in jannah, even hoor husbands if you'd like. No one is left dissatisfied when you get there believe you me.
But if you want some insight into why the hoor al ayn is so emphasized for the men, it's because, especially in this day and age where all the beautiful girls walk around half naked, seduce people and make us men lust really badly, its challenging to say the least. Its literally hard wired into us to lust for beautiful women. I'm sure you've heard of virgins that are holding themselves back for marriage are looked down upon as old fashioned and even laughed at in some cases in the secular world we live in.
However we men are also ordered by Allah to lower our gaze, speak only respectfully, dont over step the bounds outside of marriage into hook up culture or else youd be committing heavy heavy sin. This is especially hard for our more handsome brothers who have women flocking to them on a daily basis. It feels almost unfair. Of course strong muslims shouldn't feel this way but there is atleast a small part of in most of us that feels almost resentful.
In light of all this, we need some form of safe space and motivation to not just act on our desires when it would be so easy to. Hence, the vivid description of the hoor al ayn. I can confidently say it's one of the hardest rules in Islam to stick to and that this mercy of Allah has prevented me many times from falling into such sin. It gives us hope that it'll all be worth it in Jannah when I finally meet them and then we will make up for all the "lost time" many times over if I'm just patient etc.
I hope that clears things up :)

These women are your wives thatll be everything you can possibly desire and more so you'll have the female company that men crave to have so much. Intimacy is just an expression of that love so its far from casual.
Male and female desire when it comes to the opposite sex function very differently from each other. Men are very visual, straightforward and have their desires come very spontaneously, especially as young adults and their desires don't need context the same way a woman does (literally any random woman can turn us on if they are attractive enough). With everything as hyper sexualised as it is these days combined with the low barrier of entry for men to get turned on, there are many triggers for male desire.
Its in our nature to lust after beautiful women. In fact, its an extremely powerful force. These reasons are also why men masturbate alot more often than women do and why alot of porn is visual in nature. To emphasise how visual men are, We dont even necessarily need sound or even video to get one off, a picture can suffice which is something I doubt a woman can do easily.
God knows he's put such strong desires in men yet he asks us to stay away from expressing them in anyway form outside of marriage when he knows how hard it is to abide by that rule in this day and age. And what about the rising amount of men that'll never get married and remain virgins till death since women simply dont choose them? Thats why he goes into the detail that he does about the hoor to give us some comfort that the afterlife will be better than this life if we sacrifice something so deep within us for Allah's sake. I hope that helps explain it a little better.

@xxyc jjj At no point did I say that men ONLY care for the physical but i won't lie to you and say that men being visual plays no role whatsoever. Its an ASPECT of being a man, not the whole like you are making out to be.
Obviously we care for the emotional side of things or else we'd never stay in relationships or form deep connections with our significant others or stay when times are hard in the relationship. No amount of casual sex can replace that deep connection. However that doesnt change the fact that even the physical aspect alone is enough to trigger our sexual desires or else porn would not be the multi billion dollar industry it is today. Its a burning desire that we suppress. And with the way everything is sexualised, they are so many triggers it's unbelievable.
look no further than social media where people can be instagram famous for showing off their skin in photos. Why is that never addressed? They claim they arent objects yet make themselves out to be anyways knowing how men will view their suggestive photos.
Thats the reason I even referenced this side of things since it was the simplest demonstration of men being visual that i could think of and a real issue men face today. I personally try to stay away like the plague but theres always SOMETHING snuck in, even if you arent looking for it. Its why ive deleted my social media.
Its hard as hell to deny yourself something that is so easy to access and partake in as a practicing Muslim saving himself for marriage but thats the world we live in.
      This topic goes both ways.

@xxyc jjj id advise you to look into scientific research on the differences between male and female sexual desire but it really isnt as simple as you make it put to be. You have a really strict one way view on things. Once you recognise those differences itll help with understanding my points on why porn is so effective on men in particular.
Its a really hard concept for me to explain in a simple comment section since ive been a guy all my life but its not like we are carnal desirous animals. Our logic and even our morality keep that side of us in check, but its always there and its powerful. Its not like we chose to be born this way but its a part we need to make peace with and its much easier to simply let go. Thats why we need all the motivation we can get to keep it in check in a world such as this one.
Im just sorry I couldnt explain it well enough, thats on me.

Allah will put light on their faces and silk on their bodies. The human women will be fair in complexion and will wear green clothing and yellow jewelry. Their incense-burners will be made of pearls and their combs will be of gold. They will say, ‘We are the women who will stay forever and we will never die. We are the women who will always remain in comfort and we will never undergo difficulty. We are the women who will stay and we will never leave. Inshaallah I just want one handsome husband if Allah promises it to me.
Sometimes I cry when I hear about the women of the hereafter, I feel unworthy and feel as if the hereafter is mostly for the men, I hear most women will follow the dijjal, and most women will entire hell. I know I shouldn't think like this and it is coming from shatan but if so if Allah put me in the beautiful hereafter where I will find my handsome prince, or if Allah turns me to hell Oh Allah please forbid I will have to live with what Allah has given me, even if I haven't found love in this life I pray that I find it in the next or even tomorrow. But if not I just have to except what Allah has planned for me Allah is the greatest. ✌
