True champion of the people, Ali. Never got upset with them, even with all that madness at the end. During the Gutteridge interview a young/small fan exuberantly jumped onto the ropes before him and was roughly shoved down by Mickey Duff. Ali noticed and immediately used his left hand to restrain Duff, before gently touching the fan, as if to say, "It's OK. You alright?" All while continuing the interview. Concern and class like that cannot be taught, as far as I'm concerned. I genuinely loved the guy.
What a great man and extraordinarily athlete Ali was. He usually out positioned his opponents but never hit a man from the extreme angles or when he turned them around. Never saw a cleaner fighter. Superb! How can anyone compare the Ali of the sixties or even of the early seventies, through 1974 when he defeated the great George Foreman, to any heavyweight in the long and venerable history of this wonderful sport?!?
Very overrated. His greatest attribute was taking a punch. Turned his brain to jello later. He was just a jabber and a slapper. But he could take a punch.
Blin came to fight. He caught Ali with some wicked hooks in the 1st/2nd round. Ali had to show respect to Blin's quickness on the inside. Blin fought well, but Ali is/was the Greatest.
Ali Left Jab or the Snake Lick as he calls it is strong, but his Right hand follow up punch is the Strongest.. Neat fighting with no Low blows or foul play. RIP Champ..
Jurgen gave it all! Loved his spirit. I am unsure of what happened in the end, it seemed as if Jurgen was becoming more aggressive but either left jab or the right landed square. This is a classic fight.
Serious pandemonium after the fight. I know my main man Ali is loved, but sheesh that was crazy, Ali barely could get out of the ring. People were swarming in the ring like bees and SHIT LOL! 😂
Bling reminds Me a bit of Cooper in His first fight with Ali very Quick and Getting Some good Punches in. But ultimately the Greatest turned it on and was Victorious
Blin might have pressured Muhammad Ali but Ali with his speed and style Blin fell apart. Reg Gutteridge, the voice of itv boxing at ringside in Zurich fifty years ago.
At the end of the fight, and in between all this happening, @40:00 minutes time of this video, Mickey Duff didn't forgot to take the last puff before throwing down the cigarette butt in the boxing ring! 😂
Either Blin had a better chin than Sonny Liston or Ali lost a lot of his punching power. Ali predicted a first round knockout, just like the second Liston fight, but he wasn't able to deliver.
Liston was surprised by a short, quick shot and then engaged in theatrics. He took the dive when he knew Ali's attitude after the first was even more confident. Ali had already figured him out and was ready to fight from the outset, no need for a feeler or experimentation. he knew what to expect from Liston. Liston took a dive for personal/financial reasons.
@@supra1722 the muslims had Malcom x murdered in public-jfk also killed in public MLK kinda public I think someone told him he'd get killed if he beat Ali
@@pierregauthier9254 you're telling me the nation killed JFK and MLK too? Lol. Of course they had a role in Malcolm's assassination/martyrdom, but they were pawns in a greater scheme in that case.
Jürgen Blin
Ruhe in Frieden. ( Rest in Peace ....+ 7.Mai. 2022 ).

Adam,
Thanks for supplying this Ali fight. Measured performance by the champ against the courageous aggression of Blin.

Yes I agree Ali was very special.
Yeah man Ali was really THE GREATEST
Yes I noticed that.

Very disciplined boxer indeed. He even never bother to hit when clinched.
Very overrated. His greatest attribute was taking a punch. Turned his brain to jello later. He was just a jabber and a slapper. But he could take a punch.
At 19:52 Ali tells Angelo, "This boy can fight." Ultimate respect for Blin, who was outweighed by 30 pounds...
I couldn't hear it or his lips didn't seem to say it
@@active.7universalHe was a chump with 8 loses.
RIP to Muhammad Ali and Juergen Blin.
Ali's jab is a beast.
it's a boxing class for all of us to enjoy. why? knock him out in the first round. every 1 of Ali's fights was a show thanks champ RIP.
RIP JÜRGEN BLIN
Mr Ali was such a clean fighter
Blin came to fight. He caught Ali with some wicked hooks in the 1st/2nd round. Ali had to show respect to Blin's quickness on the inside. Blin fought well, but Ali is/was the Greatest.
The SPEED of His Fists Border Supernatural !! There Will Never Be Another Muhammad Ali !!!
40:12min so great from ali he tooks the guy back
Ali Left Jab or the Snake Lick as he calls it is strong, but his Right hand follow up punch is the Strongest.. Neat fighting with no Low blows or foul play. RIP Champ..
Right hand took out Liston in the first round
Ali , no One like Ali! The greatest of all time!
I think Blin played basketball with all them damn jump hooks.
Those jump hooks are actually deadly
Blin had that Patterson style. Ali was just toying with him.
Jurgen gave it all! Loved his spirit. I am unsure of what happened in the end, it seemed as if Jurgen was becoming more aggressive but either left jab or the right landed square. This is a classic fight.
23:14 That fuckin quick azz combination came outta nowhere! Lmao, Ali'z Da Man
totally different ali we got after his lay off for those 3 half years he's almost unrecognisable with his style and stamina
Credit to Juergen Blin, nowhere near in Ali's class and outweighed by 22lbs but gave it a real go against the greatest.
That was a very brutal righthand I miss ali he was god of boxing dancing destroyer
Serious pandemonium after the fight. I know my main man Ali is loved, but sheesh that was crazy, Ali barely could get out of the ring. People were swarming in the ring like bees and SHIT LOL! 😂
Cause he wasn’t in America lol
Small is a understatement it's like maneuvering in a cage for a dancer and mover like Ali
My favourite ever boxer Muhammad Ali greatest of all time rest in peace body salaam alaikum
Being honest I love both men. Very good boxers. Muhammad just had the upperhand
pinball wizard kiley: Yeah. Ol' Sting tried his best.😉😁😁.
Respekt an Jürgen Blin, mutiger Kämpfer, ruhe in Frieden..hatte bor jahren einmal in seiner Kneipe am Hauptbahnhof etwas getrunken. Cooler Mann..❤❤

I don’t think Ali bothered to train for this one.

Ali took the guys kiss pretty
good. You remember Will Smith? Jabbed the guy in the face!
It's a wonder how Ali was able to make the best boxers of his time look amateurish and clumsy just by the way he moved.
Blin was tough, but looks like a Light-Heavyweight
Very tough German, but Ali was carrying him. The end Is a classic, KO from the outside.
@GENERAL FRANCO Slow down you POS
Jurgen blin VS Muhammad Ali
Blin might have pressured Muhammad Ali but Ali with his speed and style Blin fell apart. Reg Gutteridge, the voice of itv boxing at ringside in Zurich fifty years ago.
It was hilarious how dude would jump forward and Ali would slap him hard with a left hand that happened like 7 times it was funny as shit
Blin looks to have very little reach, which is a huge handicap against a guy like Ali.
Die Beiden hatten ein verdammtes Glück , das damals Mike Tyson noch zu Jung war , er hätte nacheinander Beide auf die Bretter geschickt !!!!!
At the end of the fight, and in between all this happening, @40:00 minutes time of this video, Mickey Duff didn't forgot to take the last puff before throwing down the cigarette butt in the boxing ring! 😂
Those days pickpockets at work there.
Bloody hell, that mob looked a bit unruly.
Rip champ thé gretest allaho akbar
i love too see that
Blin was lunging and jumping so much on his punches
Oh yeah!!!!

Where in the hell is the security to keep these people away from Ali?
Jürgen Blin great guy great honorable fighter
Eine Ikone, aber scheinbar nichts im Kopf sonst tritt keiner freiwillig in den Islam ein.
Marciano would have beat Ali
& eg
Why dont Blin quit its hopeless fight fore him?
well that's the biggest fight of his career so..
In parts good boxing, but you had not enough power, Jürgen

Either Blin had a better chin than Sonny Liston or Ali lost a lot of his punching power. Ali predicted a first round knockout, just like the second Liston fight, but he wasn't able to deliver.
Or liston threw the fight and ali was never a hard puncher....

That's sad if that was one of Germany's best he had no boxing skill whatsoever ?
Oh, finally, a good round from Ali. (Round 3.) They are rare.
U just mad ali never got whooped
Don't cry Greg
If Jurgen had better punching power he would have knocked Ali out early.
Ali was never kod by anyone including the hardest punchers in history Corey. So your comment is pointless.
Troll award goes to
Unfortunately, he didn't have
Just like Liston, Frazier, Foreman, etc..🙄
Nope never would have happened
Classless racist fans throwing things in the ring at Ali
