I can't praise this game enough. Veteran of two warhammer army's. (and the rest)
Made me realise just how bad warhammer actually was as a game under the slick cover the game was really not a joy at all.
The NCU board is a superb mechanic. Adds a super tactical dimension.
Can be set up quick.
Plays quick. We easily fit two games into an evening.
Not once do we have to flick through the rulebook for clunky tables.
Everything from scenery to psycology and panic is simple fast, fun and intuitive.
Presentation is masterful.
Honestly can't see me switching to another rank an fill game.
This is just a great great thing.
Right down to the charming NCU minis kicking back in a arm chair watching the game unfold. .

@@OntheTableGaming also Greyjoy 💯 Also because of the outsider Lore and looks for sure. I guesed tge should be a bit more sneaky and need more tactics to play. I had a very hard time last week getting anything done against Tully's and some Stark. Way to much armor and moral. Dice throwing didn't help. 😂

As hardcore show fan, I was cringing about Miniac watching the show. Please Miniac ABORT ABORT ABORT. You will be SO disappointed when you reach Season 8.
Books and lore are better. The show went off the rails.
You think it's actually not worth it to watch it at all? Kind of curious how it could be so bad, haha!
@@Miniac I would actually read or listen to the books first. The show omits a large part of the characters and plots from the books.
The books goes way more in depth of the european 15th century feudal society of Westeros than it does in the show. The conflict in the books is basically a fantasy take on the war of the roses sprinkled with some dragons and foreign lands, but still grounded in realism from European 15th century feudal society. For example the armor shown in the figures from the tabletop game are more true to the books than the show is.
and I agree with Josh. there are no bad units. I own them all. play what you like. Dont listen to the cry babies on Discord and FB about Othell and MoD.
If you've actually played against them and understood what was going on, you wouldn't be saying that. NW as a whole and MoD are unbalanced, and players are winning unearned victories with them.
@@terraneaux I have played against them. I grinded those flying lizards to dust with poor fellows and a champion of faith. Placed a Turncoat in her bunker unit, paid him off then sent knights of the rock to finish the job.

People are falling over themselves to claim the game isn't broken, but the stats results give the lie to that. The numbers don't lie, but you do.

“Game balance” lol jeez you can go into any gaming community and there’s always a group claiming imbalance. Not a coincidence… just play the game bro nothing is ever going to be perfect with thousands of different minds playing it. What you consider “balanced” another won’t…. Get over yourself. This is what’s wrong with allowing player interaction on the level it’s in now with gaming. Just let the devs make their game, “balance” is so subjective it’s not even an intelligent conversation

And no, there are objective measures of balance.
if you put 10 people in a room and ask the question “is the sky blue or red” and 8 of them say it’s red, guess what… the sky is red. That’s how the world operates, on collective opinion. Doesn’t make something fact. Everything is debatable, and because everything can be debated, including your statement, you are wrong because I say you are wrong. On the flip side, the same thing applies to me as well. Which is why the game should be left to the designers to make, not the community as it should be. Too many differing opinions.. no matter how many different ways you try to state that “so many people are complaining about the current game balance” a counter argument can be made of the exact opposite. “Balance” in a game is subjective, hence why it is literally a topic in every form of gaming media today. Frankly it’s a useless debate bro
@@DopeGaminG_cQ asoiaf-stats has an extremely large dataset that shows how the game is doing.
Balance is not subjective. When all factions have winrates approaching 50%, it's balanced. I'm thinking too much GW has rotted your brain into thinking balance is bad.

Michael Jordan wasn’t going to win every single nba final because the papers say he was the best player in the league nor the bulls being the best team in the league “stat-wise”. You put Jordan on the Washington Wizards and they weren’t successful. They are just numbers my boy, it all comes down to one single encounter at the end of the day averages don’t matter.. the Patriots went undefeated ALL SEASON LONG a few years back and looked unbeatable ON PAPER and lost against the Giants in the Super Bowl.
