A First For Everything - what a great title for the season. My wife and I will be making our first big trip this next summer as we head to Badlands NP from Virginia. Never want to make time go fast but in this case…it can hurry along.

We bought ebikes a year ago and it’s a game changer. Hills, wind, and distance are much less obstacles now.. don’t be afraid to use battery power. They recharge quickly.

Dan, How exciting!! Have you decided what you want to get? So many choices out there, but we are here to tell you, you won't regret the investment. It has truly made a huge difference for us. Congrats on the E bikes. We purchased a pair a few months ago and love love them we are not mountain riders but we are trail riders and them work out for us great. We took them to Grand Canyon recently and they were all lot of fun

We went to the North Rim and yes there were quite a few trails. We bought more of a trail bike (lectric bikes) not so much for off road mountain bikes like yours. But for us they work out
great.

Enjoy your videos. The wife and I are part timers also. We travel 3 to 4 weeks at a time 5 or 6 times a year. We are Harvest Host Members and also mooch dock and boon dock. Glad to see you got out of your comfort zone with your travels. We rarely travel with reservations and just head out. I do like to have the first couple of days planned out with reservations, but after that it is a free for all. During the past four years we have only had 2 times when just pulling into a park didn't work out and we had to keep looking for a place to stay. We are also planning on trying to make the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque next year. Hope to see you there.
Hello David, we are planning on it. There is a great Balloon Festival here in Havasu on January 19 -22, 2023. The weather will be very nice. We have a video on it from January of this year. Love it! Sounds like you are having a wonderful year. We love Avila and have relatives and good friends in Paso so we camp in Avila at least once a year. We would love to keep going up the coast like you did. We are trying to wind down our business so we have the time. Hope you guys are going to the Grand Design rally in Quartzsite. Hey there friends, we will be at the GD rally in February 2023! We will definitely have to get together and we'd be happy to let you pick our brains, lol. We enjoyed the central coast so much. We both grew up in southern California and had never spent much time up there so it was a lot of fun. We can't wait to share our adventures in the new season. We are so envious of you going up the cost, because it's what we wanted to do this past summer. But, because of the gas prices, we sat at home. But, not next summer!

#Team Otha sounds like you guys had a full summer last year sad that they’re draining Lake mead this is the scuba dive there supposed to be some planes in military vehicles congratulations on the E bikes can’t wait to see the adventures with them thanks from Wisconsin

Lake Mead's lake levels are down compared to what they used to be, but it is still such a big body of water. We visited family, I was born and raised in Albuquerque so know it well there is so much to do I can’t list it all! It’s a wonderful town, please go back and have a blast! Balloon fest in October is a must do!,

Excellent video. Spontaneity is what life is all about. I am looking forward to when my wife and I can take trips like that. You know the old 40 hour a week routine does not make that easy.
Stan I have a question for you. I have recently got a 2022 Chevy 2500 HD 6.6 gasser. Any way I see you are towing an Imagine. I have a Reflection travel trailer 300RBTS. I am wondering what you are using for hitch and weight distribution? I had a 2019 1500 Chevy Silverado before. I know there is a height difference between the 2. I will probably have to get a drop down but, not sure. I figured I would ask you for a recommendation since you have the 2500 HD. Keep on rollin!!!

Congratulation on the New E bike's. I have also have the LIV Temp E+2 + 29 tire & Husband has Giant Talon E+3 + 29 tire. There great bikes. Also the bike has an auto speed that is awesome for riding in the mountain up hill it figure's out the Assist you need and what a game changer. Have fun on your new bikes. love the show too.

Matt, We agree, traveling with your spouse is a great thing especially when they are your best friend. Last year we were up in Plummer, Idaho and then went East and did the Route of the Hiawatha Rails-to-Trails. One of our top, scenic rides ever! We absolutely love it up there. My wife & I rented ebikes on a long weekend this past Summer. We were both surprised at the fun we had riding on a rails-to-trails. The gearing and power assist allowed us to ride together while still getting a good workout. Definitely on our wish list.

Love your videos. My husband and me did a little of what you did we just did our adventure this year and did the coast from California to Oregon. All I can say is I’m glad we didn’t wait. Keep your adventures coming. 😊

Yes we took our cougar 23 MLS fifth wheel. And yes my husband said not again and we even took highway 1 above fort Bragg. NEVER AGAIN!! Beautiful area but not again. Enjoy your next adventure. I am planning ours for next September to take 395 up to Bend Oregon and then east. 😊
