- 😲 Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures share the Rally Bound & Beyond Season Finale with their viewers. After a two month long trip in their Grand Design Imagine 2500RL from Arizona to the Grand Design National Rally in Indiana, then to Michigan and back across the country, they finally end their season at the 2023 Albuquerque New Mexico Balloon Fiesta. Stan and Rhonda had the opportunity to be part of a balloon crew for the first time and this will be a look behind the scenes. In this video, they will also share tips to know before you go to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Stan and Rhonda dry camped in rally conditions in the South Lot for five nights/6 days and will share some important information. They were scheduled to leave after 4 nights and were able to pay for one more night to stay and help the crew for one more day. They also ran into some familiar faces at the rally, @FindingOurSomeday and @LessJunkMoreJourney at their meet-up!

It wouldn’t be the same without you ☺️ Unfortunately we did it get the chance to sample local cuisine, BUT we are headed back this year! The few clips we shared in the video were Stan’s footage from the flight. Great video. I was wondering how the balloon are navigated. Thanks for the explanation. Today’s video really showed how much the volunteers are needed: helping with the launch, landing, chase, packing and probably much more. I wonder if the Lake Havasu festival will be similar?
Hi Claudia! They absolutely rely heavily on volunteers for all aspects of the festival. We were fortunate we felt to be able to crew with Dale and Tina. We took Stan’s friends place who couldn’t make it. Now we are hooked! 😅 We are signed up already for this year too 👏 We will be airing the Havasu Balloon Festival in a few weeks 👏 Thanks for hanging out with us! ❤️

Hello Robert, we don’t have to worry about it. Our Influence doesn’t have a drop frame. However, it is all what people are talking about. Not only that, the more negative you can get the more clicks they get on their videos. There are way too many variables. Unfortunately most folks living full time in their RVs are way over weight. Then there are those who drop their RV on their truck and now have frame flex. We had a bunch of friends that had frame flex and Grand Design took care of them. Mostly the really big ones. I am really sad about these stories of Grand Design. We did not have a single issue with our first Grand Design. We traveled over 33,000 miles. I still say to this day, RV’s aren’t meant to live in full time. Hence the reason why they are called recreational vehicles. Any way, thank you for your concerns. Stan and Rhonda
