Hey man that thing looks 😎 cool... if i could make a suggestion as a fellow racer....
It seems like your purpose with this build is speed so we gotta go back to basics..power to weight ratio and traction.
The reason why you cant get up to speed is because although cool looking those things are tanks.. meaning they weight a ton and since you added more weight with the huge steering servo, huge batteries ang huge wheels and tires, active wing and the weight of the transmission itself ...... well you get the idea, it seems good on paper but have you tried putting it on a weight scale? No wonder you keep braking hex pins..
Im not hating on you my friend I hope im not misunderstood. Im guilty of that myself trust me I have a fair share of overbuilt rc projects...lol
But in resume its way too heavy for its own good... also that chassis tire width and contact patch doesnt help put what little power you have to the ground and you end up with a swirly ride going from side to side..
My suggestion..??? A little downgrade actually...I GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK.
    - smaller and lighter precision steering servo(regular size way lighter)
    - go back to 17mm hex(24mm is uncalled for, big, bulky, HEAVY
    - 17MM belted will do the trick pass 70mph (waaay lighter with a wider contact patch for more traction)
    - hex spacers, not good looking but self explanatory, theres no choice for wider arms and axles soooo...
    - ligher battery 🔋
    - transmission is gimmicky and NOT NEEDED. It doesnt help if theres no "ON THE FLY" shifting to provide extra speed and you got massive torque with being electric anyway, theres no reason to not being able to "wheelie on command" with 6S power while still achieve 70+mph without a 2speed...unless your rig was so heavy that wouldnt go pass 55
-lastly...the wing kills you. If your rig weight is like 15+ pounds and you add even more weight with the servo mechanism and then the extra downforce.... have you ever stuck your hand out the window of a moving car at 50mph? The wind pressure is such to move your whole arm even when you fight it.... this effect adds extra pounds with your "active aero"
What I would love to see is you move in the right direction... as a proof of concept make it light or even build a 3rd one super light that wont break as much and will go way faster with the same powerplant, bigger pinion, couple of pound lighter, wider with more traction and way more stable.
More weight is nof equal to more fun, it's actually your enemy in this hobby, it only equals to more wear and tear, more friction, less stability and less speed with more money to spend.
Theres a reason a $115 Wltoys does 45mph out the box on 2s and 55mph on 3s, that my friend is the same reason a traxxas rustler does 65mph out the box on 3s (with a pinion) and Arrma 3s will do 50mph and their 6s will do 60-70mph+
As a builder and hobbyist, It feels a lil underwhelming to over build and underachieve.
I hope it helps, all in the name of FUN, blessings my friend.

Thank you for watching and thank you for such a thought filled comment! We’re all racers here and we’re all trying to share ideas about how to go fast reliable. I have many RC cars that go well north of 100 miles an hour speed was not the purpose of this build. I have a bulletproof method that I use on the differentials that I wanted to show everyone that it could take whatever you threw at it even 12s. Yes there is a lot of weight but it weighs 6 pounds less than my Xmaxx and 11 pounds less than my K8s. The power to weight is still far better than any other 1/5 scale RC. I keep breaking hex pins because Redcat provides an inadequate small pin quite smaller than even a 6S Arrma. I ended up manufacturing my own in my metal shop and no more problems. I agree with you with the tire contact patch I am changing out tires today. I’m never going back to 17mm tires there a waste of time in my opinion the 24mm gives you many more options and tighter belted tires. As far as the transmission goes I’m not sure how far you made it through this video or my others but this is an in fact a shift on the fly transmission. The trans is not gimmicky I don’t have to change pinions when I want to do cookies in the dirt to a speed run. That’s the purpose of this build which is why there’s so much emphasis on the gearing. The wing is a very important part of this build before I added the active arrow package the car was doing a wheelie between 50 and 60 miles an hour. The wing is fully functional and the car is weighted proportionately in the front to compensate for the rear downforce. One day you will see my 2 speed transmission and custom clutch set up or ones like it in every eighth scale basher like it was always there. I agree with you on the weight it always adds more wear and tear but that’s with everything including other 1/5 scale RC‘s. In conclusion I don’t believe it’s fair to be comparing small 1/10 scale Traxxas Rustlers to a 1/6 1/5 scale RC. Apples and oranges but I like those 1/10s just the same. What you saw was about a quarter to half throttle pull on the 12s and we didn’t even get to see second gear on the Shredcat which I’m sure will see north of 70mph. I don’t believe that’s considered underachieving for an RC never built before. Again thank you for the thought filled comment and I hope you stick around to see some of our other builds. ☢️🤙

I thought the same thing as I stated in the video but gave the servo a stress test and it is beast mode that’s not the problem. At this point I am positive we have a wheel and tire issue but there might be a need for a slightly higher weight in the center diff. I am slightly hesitant about moving to 1 million in the center diff. I think that might create too much resistance but no risk no reward. The new wheel entire combination has already arrived.
