- Dead & Company perform covers of the Grateful Dead song Viola Lee Blues and Willie Dixon's Wang Dang Doodle featuring John Mayer on guitar at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York on November 11, 2015.
Me and my buddies all got lifetime, yeah.
Hey John Mayer. Take it easy, you blow
dayum! I'm ok with this, because it's done with a founding father present. And Jerry would love this.
This Viola Lee-->Wang Dang Doodle-->Viola Lee was great!
I have to admit the new guys were superb.
the judge decreed it
the clerk he wrote it
George and Clarky
the clerk he wrote it down indeedy
notorized
Mayer is some hot blues - straight out of the deep fryer!
That’s true passion he just never know how to get a band together and make it happen
Thanks!
Very good "viola lee blues " versioni...i'had never heard J.Mayer before.. good vibration and tecnic for an historic dead classic in time.
Bobby brought his cowboy special that night!
Bobby must LOVE having a baby brother! Love Dead and Co.!
I think he does!!!
merci pour cette vidéo !!!!!
like him or not, Mayer can fucking shred on guitar.
unreal...shredorama
Fkn' Gruvn' !!!!!! SHAZAM !!! HOT DAMN!!!!'
Bho? Bha!
Snaky and great in a way that the post-GD lineups never seem to manage. Contrary to DanLucky11's comment at the top, Viola Lee Blues was originally by Noah Lewis. But nobody ever stretched it out like the good ole Grateful Dead.
fucking slayer woooooohoooo
ugh,,, calm down man
In my opinion that's has been better Viola Lee version from the Deads & c. beginning..in 2015...primero concerto...
Whoever is complaining doesn't know good blues from a stump in the road
ehh. for John Mayer. that wasnt the best. never even played that crucial rift that this song lives on.
Joshuea Belis whats a crucial rift?
@@stinkyass3144 no clue man. Sounded fire to me. Obviously nobody can compare to Jerry's vibration, but I think Mayor fits nicely in. Who cares about riffs man, he bring the ENERGY, that RAW SOUND
nasty. just nasty
The thrill is gone for Mayer now. He doesn't play like this any more.
Please bring back John Kadlecick Mayer sounds like any old dude playing at a random blues jam not one original riff way over playing not listening to the band just himself.
Lmao John K is a hack! So glad he is no longer in the band. Boring, bad vocals, and a sexual predator. Kimock can school them both but Mayer crushes John K everyday of the week. Not to mention this is a heavy blues song, peformed by a musician with a blues background who got props from bb king, at a show that was only a few WEEKS into learning the material.
Fact...crushes is putting it mildly....after he crushes them, he smokes em', lol.
JRAD MOTHERFUCKERS!
