Beautiful model. Great details for this scale. Not my favorite car for the way it looks, but i got a 1/43 model from the collection that comes with a magazine because it was cheap (14 euro) and it is a winning car at Le Mans.
Cracking model. Fully diecast surely? (apart from spoiler I guess). Love the V12 engine and exhaust detailing, really elevates the model. I prefer the look of the cleaner liveried 1990 LM winning XJR12 as driven by Brundle, but '88 was surely a more momentous victory having broken Porsche's dominance. Sidenote: the P&O sponsorship, which was new since the Herald of Free Enterprise ferry disaster of 1987, where the company went bust and P&O was the successor.
Great detail for 1/43rd! Lovely model 👍
Yes, to cope with being depicted in close up 4k does mean that it has good detail and proportions! :)
Nice model mark. The Jaguar XJR-9 is one of my favorite cars. I've a number of them in the Castrol delivery be from the states.
Ah yes, we didn't see much of the Castrol livery. I guess that that was an IMSA thing.

Yes, it's not the best looking Group C car!

Ah. Interesting about the P&O stuff.
