I came around after the surgery and I was in excruciating pain, insane pain. The nerve block didn't work, so they gave me a few doses of morphine and ketamine. The recovery is taking longer than I had hoped and if it wasn't for the targanat pain killers, I would not be sleeping at all. I guess its a case of grin and bear it.

He stitched your bicep tendon to your pectoralis? That's bizarre. A tenodesis attaches the long head of your bicep tendon to your upper arm bone below the bicepitel groove. Are you sure you described the repair correctly?

Where did you get your sling? It is looking very fancy but effective.

Almost a year later. How are you? I'm slated for this in Sept. and it seems very risky.

I'm facing this shoulder surgery in the new year for a long term lonhead tendonitis issue. Pretty nervous about it and not looking forward to the six month rehab.

I just had a Tenodesis and 2 1/2 weeks I tore it today. Did they try to convince you to just leave it torn or did they ask if you wanted to do the tenodesis? I see my surgeon Monday so I was curious….any insight?
