Sponsored by Adria, a van tour after owning it after 4 years, and you certainly referred to the supersonic as 'yours' 🤣👍😍 All the signs of a new van coming your way 🤣😍❤👍
😂😂😂 If only that were true.
Thanks for the tour, nice to see you both on the videos again
Aww thank you for watching! Hope you are both well ❤️
Great vlog, really like the Adria.
Thanks for letting us all into your home for a look around
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it.
Fabulous tour Both. Very well designed home. So much storage as well as that garage. Surprised how much storage was in the bathroom, sliding mirror storage was very clever idea. Keep loving the life Both. Fabulous to follow as always x
Ah Thanks, Yes it is a cracking little van really and soots us well and you are right there is plenty of storage.
thanks for the tousr such an amazing van... love it.. and the cats are so at home.
Thanks, The cats love the big dashboard, it is a very good place to sunbath and watch there world go by, which is what cats do best. 😂
nice van you got keep up the good vid thanks lee
Thanks for watching and commenting Lee, and you are first to comment!😜
Perfect layout 👍
Thank you! We find it ideal, there are compromises such as climbing over each other to get in to bed but it’s a small thing when the layout works so well for us! Thanks for watching 😁
We had a look around an Adria Sonic Axess 600 SL at the weekend it was lush ❤ great vans.
Yeah, we had a look at that when they first released it in the uk, it is a very nice van, shame they have discontinued it for the uk market. So if we wanted a new one we will have to go for the 700 supreme which I wouldn't complain about. 😜
Lovely video ❤
Thank you 🤗
Excellent tour 👍💙❤️
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Great video guys and thank you for the tour! Really enjoyed the insight to it as I am constantly thinking about moving from bricks to van life. Great home by the way and the girls are certainly settled in there to! All the best both….. Smithy
Ah thanks so much for watching Smithy😁😁 honestly it’s amazing, best decision we ever made! 🚐🚐 haha yes the girls have well and truly settled in, we are firmly under their beans, we chose a bloody van based in them 😆 wouldn’t have it any other way though x
Very practical for full time living. Love your cats 😃 Trev
Thanks Trev. Yeah we love it to be fair.
What I love about your home:
1. Your fantastic cab.
2. Your Fridge Freezer. (Bigger than ours)
3. Your cat sticker in the cat cupboard.
4. Your nice big garage.
I would much rather have your home than that bloody big £600,000+ one you showed us on a previous video at the Show. 100%. Oh yeah, love the look of the front from outside too. BEAST! 😁👍
Ha ha, Some of the best bits. Yeah the STX I think would be a bit of a compromise when visiting some of the smaller places, we would have to tow the Adria behind and use that for touring 😂
@@lifebeyondbricks Haha.. now THAT would be a sight! 😂
Lovely van 💜
We have garage and bed envy 😁x
Thanks, I just wish I could keep it tidy and organised 😜
Great vlog guy's 👍
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic van tour, would love to have something like that one day obviously I’m dreaming 😂
Thanks for watching and commenting, to be fair we sold our house for our van so anything is possible.
Great vlog, thanks. Love the A classes, but it didn’t work out for us on availability 14 months ago. We had the Gaslow added also, and a few other additionals. We’ve got the Swift 597, so similar lay out to yours, but not A class and 8M long. But its been great, love the lay out, love the garage. All the best. Tony and Julie.
We have a two length on beds though, not transverse like yours. Hence 8M
Nice, The swift 597 is a lovely motorhome and to be fair I think our next van will have longitudinal beds, like the look of the Sonic 700 supreme.
We enjoyed this both. Tash, you have loads of storage space, however, I didn't see where you keep your butter dish😜
😂 it weighed too much so Jon made me throw it out 😉❤️
Good tour guys, great MH. Location looks great, where in Germany is it? We’re revisiting again soon 🚌😉
Thanks for watching and commenting, It was Heusenstamm, absolutely beautiful place with a really nice Aire.
@@lifebeyondbricks cheers 😉
Looks a lovely home 😍😎👍🏻 We’d love to upgrade our T5 to a motorhome, hopefully in the new year if prices of everything calm down a bit 🏴😎👍🏻
Thanks for watching and commenting,
Yeah, the prices are crazy at the moment, although I suppose it is all relative as you get more money for your T5 at this time. Knaus have just released their CUV concept which is a fully coach built motorhome on a T6.1 chassis which is quite interesting.
@@lifebeyondbricks oooo will take a look now, thanks. I always loved the karmann colorado models. I think we’ll be going a bit older though as our first proper motorhome, can’t wait 😎👍🏻
Nice van guys, bet that trip seems ages ago now!!! Cheers K.
Thank you! Oh it does, it’s already been too long, we’re itching to go again 😆 thanks for watching! 😁
Hi, Can I ask where you got your waterproof front seat covers? I have the same seats as you and have been looking for some for ages. Thanks
Hi! Jon got them from a motor factor supplier, they are not the prettiest but they are hard wearing and wipe clean! 😆 I can ask which one if you’d like?
Good Vlog Jon & Tash, I might have missed it, but how much solar, battery power do you have and how is this controlled? As I am looking at what my wife and I need but bypassing the EBL in our Burstner. This vlog also seems that you are preparing / shopping for a new van!
Thanks for watching and commenting, We have 320watts of solar with Victron solar regulator and 200ah of Lithium batteries. We still use the EBL for all the outgoing electrics as the lithium batteries are just direct replacements for the AGM's, we also have a Victron Dc to Dc charger so the batteries charge faster when running the engine.
No we're not shopping for a new one, however, if a Sonic 710SL came up at the right price I would seriously consider it. 😜
@@lifebeyondbricks
Thank you for the reply, so I presume that you left the switch for what battery you have on AGM that is on your EBL when you swapped them for Lithium?
I'm trying to understand the way to replace my existing solar controller for the Victron and then change the DC-DC also. The problem is that I would need to replace both at the same time as my existing controller looks as if it is a joined system.
You already saved my bacon and pocket when I watched your video on the water tank leak. It was the spring circlip that holds the drain in place in which I would have been charged just for the company to look at it then charge me again just to chap the circle further down.
Keep up the good work and keep making the videos was I am personally learning something.🤫
@@drewselfridge2790 Yes, I left the onboard charger set to AGM/Gel with the Lithiums. We have Nordelettronica rather than the EBL but it is very similar in its operation. Are your leisure batteries inside or outside the vehicle? The one bit advice I can give with the Lithiums is don't buy the cheapest ones, we will soon be replacing ours for Ecotree lithiums as our original unbranded units the battery casing has started to swell so I fear they might contain pack cells rather than the more robust cylindrical cells which are starting to swell.
You should be able to do the Solar controller and DC2DC charger separately, what EBL and solar/dc to dc do you have?
It’s like a hotel on wheels compared to our little VW 😍
Ah thanks. Your van is lovely though and you can get under height barriers. Tash has a Danbury surf on a T5.1 which we use as our car when we are working and in one place for a while.
@@lifebeyondbricks yeh height barriers can be a big plus point sometimes 😁
Hi guys, are your cats indoor only?
Hi! They do go outside but if we’re somewhere busy or unfamiliar, we walk them in their harnesses, if we’re somewhere more remote, they have trackers on their collars 😃
What were the van dimensions fella?
Thanks for watching and commenting, Van is 7 metres long, 2.3metres wide, and 2.9 metres high. Its on the Fiat maxi 4.25 tonne chassis.
