Trying to concentrate on Lzzy
This is absolutely my favourite song by The Hu so far, the instrumentals alone are transcendent, the Mongolian lyrics are stunning and the English as well adds another layer. It speaks so much of the strength of women and there's so much in that in a world where women are seen so often as sexual objects. This speaks of their contributions to life and the honour they should have in our world. It is very emotional for me because I have so few experiences where I have been valued. The song is noble. It is beautiful both with and without Izzy's contribution. ♡
Lzzy collab with THE HU was fantastic.
Her participation is awesome, she really added something great to the song with the melody for the powerful lyrics she created. TBH I had never heard Lzzy before, now I am a fan. Some days ago, Floor Jansen, the Nightwish amazing vocalist was asked which female singers she admired and the first she mentioned was Lzzy. Floor mentioned she would love to do a collab with Lzzy, as far as I remember.
THE HU and Nightwish are the most amazing bands for me.

Take any chance you get to go see a band you enjoy live. You never know what to expect. I was extremely surprised to see Lzzy step out onto the stage when they came to Nashville last year for this song. It is an experience I will never forget.

"Everything starts and ends with a woman." That is so true. My dad was pretty much raised by a strong woman, and when he passed away, he was surrounded by women. My mother, sister, me, two of my aunts, plus the hospice nurses who were all women.

The Hu has quickly become my absolute favorite band, sorry Iron Maiden, but you’re 2nd now. The mix of modern and traditional Mongolian instruments is amazing, the sound of the Morin Khuur and Tovshuur move you emotionally, and the throat singing touches a deep primal part of my soul.
The Song of Women with Lizzy Hale was amazing, powerful, and made this 57 year old US Army Cold War era Veteran cry, and be more thankful for my Mom, Daughter, and Granddaughter. I would not be who I am today without them.

I bought "The Gereg" as soon as I heard "Wolf Totem". I truly enjoy traditional sounds from around the world and the Mongolian spirit is unique. I fell in love w/ this song upon hearing it. I already knew of Lzzy and her band, so I was happy to see this collaboration. I have also enjoyed watching others react to it here on YT. The effect it has is thrilling. Both the original & Lzzy's versions are fantastic. Thank you for posting this video, so interesting to learn of how it happened.
