I think of all the foreign vloggers in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jumping Places is really the winner. Getting stuck in Palawan was a great opportunity for you to showcase places off the beaten path, while others were either stuck in the city or have resorted to non-travel content. The Department of Tourism should cite you as tourism ambassadors for promoting Palawan amid the pandemic.

About 15 years ago I arrived in the Philippines to begin a 9-year stint living abroad. I spent the first several years living in Makati, and my favorite place to go was Greenbelt indoor/outdoor retail entertainment center. At the time, Cafe Havana had indoor/outdoor dining, an outdoor hookah lounge, and live band entertainment. It was quite the scene, especially with all the ladyboys preying on the old unsuspecting foreign men that were fresh off the boat who had no idea the "chicks" that were hitting on them has d***s, hahaha. And yes, there are quite a few uber-rich folks in Makati and the surrounding neighborhoods (Fort Bonifacio/Global City, Ayala Alabang, etc.). My first date with my wife was over 14 years ago at Greenbelt. Now we are back in the USA working our asses off, dreaming of retirement in a tropical country someday.

Then the gullible westerners think that the Phils is really damn poor so they send out donations etc to these media outfits but none of their donations really get to the poor 100%. Its 50% to their own pockets! Thats why these yellow media give a bad impression about the Phils to the whole world where in fact the Phil is a rich country pretending to be poor nation. Manila is a rich city, media only focuses the slum areas as part of their donation campaign..
