First of all I have finally seen your video again in my Recommendations, after over 6 months that I joined your channel. I have always admired how honest and true you are, actually my fav movies on your channel being the year summary and mistakes (although I got caught by your reels tutorial 😄) keep up with your great job and can't wait to see how you introduce storytelling to your channel!
LOL, Elise, the makeup strategy had me hooked. For a minute I thought you had a black eye or something. Brilliant engagement strategy. haha

I produce channels and I never let my clients record more than 3 videos at a time. I run an agency but it’s boutique (small) and it’s very collaborative with the creator. I don’t think a regular agency models works on CZcams. Great video!

It really is because it’s a professional organizer I kind of get bored with organizing tips but I know the bigger picture becomes what’s going on inside and productivity then you have to see what are people looking at it how can you just tweak things

Experiencing with your makeup was something that I noticed in the first couple seconds!

Oh interesting! Yeah my aim is to be much more intentional with my videos. So I might be filming 1-3 videos at a time, but the days of filming 8 in a row are probably over.

Pretty good advice there Elise , thank you for sharing! I have a two niche channel that is my first mistake. If I’m going to grow , I have to keep it tidy and stick to those two niches only or I’m going to turn people off. I’ve learned that viewers/subscribers are fickle. They’re not interested in going off the beaten path. My last two flop videos are proof of that. 😂 Thanks and take care of that channel !

Strategy + Soul is the way. People are burned out and tired of the same b.s. fluff. Any post I make that is more real and authentic vs. contrived does 10 times better. Consumers are getting smarter and want someone who actually cares. Glad you are making some changes! I always recommend you for social media education.
I make my videos on topics I think are interesting to my audience and THEN I optimize for search, tweaking the keywords to get max discoverability. I'm still a NewTuber, but I think the strategy is working pretty well!

I was really excited to find your channel a few months ago but after watching this, it seems like they were older videos. I have been actively clicking away from your channel because it felt fake and manufactured and the thought of implementing anything from vids like that made me feel gross. It also had a negative impact on my perception of your overall brand. I''ve largely stopped reading your emails and not even looked through some of the products I've purchased with you. My thought process was, "if this is where this goes, this is not who I want to be." I'm glad that you're moving back to what brought people here. 😁
Interesting! Thanks for the honest feedback! What made you feel like the videos were older? And yes, it was all a big lesson in learning how to scale, remove myself from the biz, but not lose that authentic feel.

It took me a while to realize you had makeup on half your face. I thought you had a black eye till about 6 mins in.
My content has been consistent. Still gaining subscribers and yet views and Adsense is down. Views are down for many CZcamsrs. Ironically, my shorter videos are getting the most views and revenue. Attention span is much shorter these days.
I don’t think you should take all the hits for less views.
I do believe in the storytelling as you said. After we have enough videos, it makes it easier to circle back and tie the videos together. As always, thank you for the tips!
AdSense being down is normal because of so many adblockers. I am glad your channel is growing, storytelling is something I was lacking but I will pick up the pace. Thank you, I appreciate your support!

I want to add a PDF file in the description below my video. However I do not currently have a website so I am unable to create a page to link from/to.
I would like to learn more about Google Drive and how I can use that to link a PDF file to the description in my video. But I honestly don’t know anything about using Google Drive and I can’t find anything about specifically linking PDF links.
You see, I’m about to expand a second YT channel for cooking. And I need to create and attach the complete ingredient list and instructions. But, I really don’t want to start a website for it, at this time.

Because to me it's clear to me that your channel appeals to influences and people building their businesses using social media..... so for me with a separate, personal channel you have the freedom to do whatever you want and experiment however you want.

Yes I was a big watcher of your channel and even purchased some packages from you. But I did notice a huge change that did not apply to me and growing the social media for the business I work for so I stopped watching. Looking forward to the changes. When I use to post my earrings to CZcams (which I made) I had no success on CZcams. Then I tried print on demand Redbubble, no success, then Now I'm doing Instagram, that's where I am hoping for success. Thanks for sharing 👍 😀 I really enjoying watching all your videos
