Im glad it turned out this way. I did own but not enjoy the Y edp. Sauvage I love but don’t wear as every man between 12 and 72 is wearing it.

That is the first time i see sauvage beat y edp in tests like this. Both are great, but y edp is better for me.

@@latinace1981 true, i tested on paper at first whit 1ml testers and sauvage smells good on it but on skin Y edp smells Even better, more sweet and bright, also the ambroxan is more noticable in skin on y edp.
I like Dior but we are all different
I have both and love them both but I still prefer Dior Sauvage a little bit more.

When the EDT version of Sauvage battles YSL EDP is loses. So I'm guessing that most people before the EDP version of Sauvage when compared to the EDT

YSL is better and gets more compliments but Dior Sauvage is a must have too.
I have been watching a number of these public smell tests and women prefer Dior Sauvage over YSL Y EDP.
The reason I want to wear cologne is to attract women, so I will go with the fragrance that women like the most.

I think Y is a little more traditional. I like it more for everyday wear.
Y edp is a blessing to my senses. Dylan blue is liked by women more than Dior sauvage i feel

Lattafa Fakhar also smells nice and is like a Yves Saint Laurent Y mix of the EDT and EDP with slightly weaker performance good value though at around £18 for 100ml.
Sheikh Al Shuyukh Final Edition perfume By Lattafa is stronger and much closer to Y EDP for £14 so everyones a winner.
Lattafa Fakhar is a mix of Y EDP and Invictus but arabian fragances are so much butter than some original ones and considering also are cheaper
*I find it interesting that in a previous video Bleu de chanel edp beat Sauvage edp, then in another one of their videos Y edp beat BDC edp.. and now Sauvage edp beat Y edp*
Different people different opinions, you can make 10 videos with the same two frags and end up with different results on each video

also it has influence how the weather is, when its hot they prefer fresher scents and so on

Dior edp has a sweetness to it thats why it is more better scents than the dior sauvage eau de toilet and ysl y by far.

Dior Sauvage is common scent, very classic .
YSL Y EdP is a good fragrance, but Sauvage EdP is even greater for two reason. It is more masculine and darker but keeps its bold cooling freshness with the Dior elegance (powdery) with the very important stronger playful/seductive sweetness than YSL Y EdP - and that was the key the Sauvage EdP has that sweetness that girls really like (girls just like sweet fragrances) and yes YSL EdP is sweet as well but not that sweet and it is literally a shower gel by the smell, the EdT even more.

Y YSL is really a good fragrance, but has a note, idk, that I don't like. Sauvage has a unique scent.
Noticing the trend of younger women prefer the sweeter/lighter whereas older women prefer the rich mature musk.

YSL is a sickeningly sweet mess. Sauvage EDP is a better scent overall whether you like it or not. Most of the hate is just parroted from CZcamsrs and for it being too popular 😂😂
Sauvage is everywhere, thats the biggest problem. and its sometimes to much. I swapped to Prada Luna Rossa Carbon.

If it's fine for you to hear " you smell like my dad, like my friend, cousin, my ex etc.", then go with Sauvage. When it comes to your example, there is a popular song everyone listens but there is also a song which embodies with your soul, personality. Choose wisely.
