Todays video we will be covering 10 tips you need to know before your driving test. This driving test in Ireland video is extremely important. Your driving test will be cancelled if you dont have some of these things in place.
Its important to be prepared for your driving test well in advance. If you check your learner permit and it is out of date (expired) there is not much you can if you check it the day before your driving test. Your driving test will be cancelled.

Your driving test will also be cancelled if youre tax, insurance or NCT is out of date. Email receipts wont cover you for this. Your tax, insurance and NCT has to be valid, in date and in the window on the day of your driving test.
Also your driving test will be cancelled if you have any bulbs out of order. Be sure to check your lights are working regularly and also the morning before your driving test

Great vids, any chance tips on Naas or the other routes?
I don’t know it well enough to be honest
My sons driving test in Naas on Friday 12 o clock was cancelled due to 'icy road conditions'.The issue I have is how he was able to do his pretest lesson at 10am and no issues going around with his instructor.RSA online only saud 8:45 and 9:15 were cancelled.

Instructor can’t win there. He doesn’t take him out and test goes ahead and he fails it’s his/her fault. You will get a date soon and instructor won’t have availability. It’s unfortunate
I’m sitting my test soon and my insurance disk dosent have the same green strip it’s much darker is it ok as long as you have the certificate from the insurance company aswell as the disk with the darker strip?
Once the insurance company posted it to you it should be ok

My driving test was canceled on the 18th of Jan due to "dangerous weather", but it was +2 outside and I perfectly did my pre-test 1 hour before. Crazy. I had been waiting for 11 months for it. How do they expect us to drive in the real world if +2 is "dangerous"? Thank you for your videos!
I don’t know what to say to this just keep practicing and make sure you pass when you get your next date
How long did you have to wait for the test after they cancelled?
@@fubsmcbubs like 10 days to book another one, which was another 14 days from that. So approx 24 days in total after cancellation
If we have changed our address just a week before the test , does the insurance disk need to be new one or can test be done with the one we have ?
No they don’t need to know your address

Since a learner can't drive unaccompanied, do you bring someone to the test center and just leave them there??
Yes bud that is the rule
my driving test was cancelled because I hired a rent a car but it was insured in my name and disc and everything was there
You weren’t insured you are on learner permit
@@admdrivingschool5033 I was infact as a secondary driver of the car. My friend who got the car on hire insured on his name and I was the secondary driver. legally speaking this was correct but the RSA did not budge and did not take my test.
Their stance was to get a car from the driver instructor only and I was like why only the driver instructor
