Justin Guarino lol it’s her job to be a bitch and a smart mouth? First of all, it didn’t seem like she was driving too close to the right. Second of all, even if she was, there was a sign that said keep right and third of all, there are ways to talk to people. Why do you think the handbook tells you not to honk at other drivers that make mistakes? So that you won’t startle them and cause them to make more mistakes. If she was concerned for her safety, she was only making it worse for herself and the driver. The driver was doing fine until that lady started bitching at her, soon after, she made the second mistake, which was a critical error, or maybe the driver was just inching forward and that lady’s dramatic ass startled her. I don’t know about you, but when someone is stressing me out and making me feel uncomfortable I get more nervous and make more mistakes because of my nervousness. It’s human nature.

@Obi Wan After the watching the video CLOSELY multiple times, you might have some validity. It did look like the girl was going for that left turn. She kept inching forward repeatedly prior to attempting the turn. I understand the examiner considered her judgment hazardous, which is why she may have failed her. She thought she was pushing it close with the other car to the left. I wish she could have explained why not to even attempt that left turn (in a calmer tone), to avoid a near collison. While it look like she was targeting her left turn, she kept moving straight instead of turning completely left, which she didnt really do. Personally, I would have let her go with a warning, and passed her becsuse she is a very good driver. I think it looks as if she was about to turned left because the examiner was intimidating throughout the video. God Bless.

No you don’t do that, because if the street is not clear and there is no indication it will be clear at any time sooner, you will be obstructing pedestrians, the visibility of other drivers, and so on.
You can only creep out if the intersection is clear in your already limited/obstructed visual range. Then you creep out a little bit, aiming for confirmation that it is truly clear, otherwise you should make a second full stop.
If you creep out while there is still traffic going on, you will trigger every single examiner into full idiotic mode. They will tell you to stop, because 1) you are charging an intersection with ongoing cars (and they saw at least one car ready to hit you), 2) they couldn’t possibly ‘divine’ your intentions, 3) you did an unsafe maneuver, and so on. He had told me about the time a girl did pretty well but the man was so rude and so stressful that she had failed and needed to retake the test. I unfortunately went through the same thing at the San Bernardino DMV. The guy I got was very condescending and extremely rude he made me feel uncomfortable to ask any questions and in the end failed me for "driving on the left side of the road" because he took me down a very narrow street and cars that were parked on both sides jutted out sometimes forcing me to drive around it. (I tried to stick to my right as much as possible but never drove on the left side of the road) It was extremely bizzare and disheartening. Some instructors are just assholes and it's crazy to think that they would be so rude to New drivers who are normally very nervous to begin with. I'm retaking my test next week and although I'm confident in my driving the first instructor I had really left me in doubt and a lot more fearful to take the test. Worst case I would just go there. But I'm sure you'll do great! Just be a bit more cautious during the test lol. I also recently found out that it's okay to ask for a different instructor before the test begins for whatever reason so if you get a weird person I'd do that (will most likely have to wait longer but what's a few more minutes vs another month if you were to fail due to the instructor being unprofessional). My only other advice is if you feel you were graded unfairly make sure to stay and talk to the supervisor to file a complaint. Yes she does act like this in real life but yes, she did pass me. Good luck to anyone who gets her next!🙏🏾❤️ Thank you for this video it helped me so much when I took my test I felt like deja vu because it was exactly what happened.

This is just painful to listen to. I would seriously just stop and tell her to shut up. I wouldn’t take this bs. Sure the driver did make a variety of mistakes but this attitude will not make anyone want to even try it again. I hope she lost her job or at least become more polite.

She’s a fair instructor. Seems intimidating/scary. Know what you’re doing and you’ll be just fine in any driving test. Stay calm, and make sure to be a very cautious defensive driver.
    Good luck everyone!

Luke 1 its a T intersection with cars parked on the side. The cars traveling perpendicular do not need to stop.... I hope the driver was inching forward like she should have been but she also could have genuinely missed the car because her head was facing the other way. It’s likely the former. She stopped to allow pedestrians to cross and properly waited for her chance to cross.... but I don’t think she should have been failed over such a simple mistake

She made several mistakes. You automatically fail when the instructor has to intervene. Had she not intervened, she would've crashed.

I can't talk about the American tests because I've never been to the US, but here in Spain she would've failed several times (she made several mistakes that would grant you an automatic fail over here).
Funnily enough that stop sign wasn't one of them! Here you are obliged to do a second stop (doble stop) if you don't have enough visibility from the place where the actual stop sign/line is placed.

I feel so bad for the driver. I was utterly and insanely nervous when I took my driving test 3 days ago and my instructor talked to me as I’m filing my paperwork. She was all smiles and she taught me breathing exercises and she told me a story about her own drive test as an instructor so that she can learn the drive test route for students. During my test she was telling me to relax and I’m doing very good and would give me reassurances from time to time. And with her help, ofcourse I passed the first time. I really hope all people are like my instructor. This instructor should be better towards the examiners. She should know better.

Tip for ANYONE in the San Diego area, take your test at San Ysidro!! The test instructors are very friendly, the route is a piece of cake with little traffic, wide and new roads, and only like one trap where you can fail, it's like driving in a new suburb. I passed first try with no errors, was easy.

Instead I would’ve pulled over at the next neighborhood and told him that he doesn’t get to yell at me in my car or disrespect me. At the end of the drive test, I would’ve told him to leave my car then. Btw congrats on passing on your next attempt🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

This woman. She was driving perfectly fine in her lane, she did not need to move or not. I am a driving instructor and this girl did make mistakes, but she has her whole life ahead to learn how to drive. Also, if there is cones that do not go over the lane, and the shoulder the cones don’t mean shit. This case, they were on the other side of shoulder, and not quiet on the yellow line. This woman is not only ignorant and wrong, she’s also extremely rude.

My first time, I had an old guy who was a cold, mean SOB. Psyched me out and I failed. What's worse is when you go back to school and get ridiculed for not passing. Fortunately a week later I took it again, had a really cool younger guy and passed. It's all about how comfortable you are whether of not you'll pass the test. The majority of the examiners are burn outs.
