- Gary, Alan and Micah discuss a Jude Bellingham masterclass as England come from behind to beat Italy at Wembley. Two goals from Harry Kane, including his 21st penalty for England, plus a rocket from Marcus Rashford give the boys great hope that England could go all the way next summer.

01:50 - Bellingham continues to perform

I love how much of a family man Shearer is, that he got his great great grandma to decorate his house.
Partially sighted grandma!
You hang around with them👍
Yeah he Deffo at home in his favourite room 😂
Does his grandma design many golf clubs? I never knew 😍
@@TheOrlandoTrustfull it was lazy at best
Shearer just becomes a bigger legend every show I listen to lmao. Used to be so dry on MOTD but off the chain he's hilarious 😂
Spot on. Has such a brilliant personality.
Agreed, much more of a personality on here that he has ever shown before
Yes. He was such a boring footballer...but he tricked us all because he is such a lad!
Boys on best behaviour at the BBC
Always thought he was a miserable get but he’s fantastic on this pod
No one’s picking up on Foden’s beautiful couple of touches before Bellingham made the Rashford goal .
All of them were class. But Bellingham is showing the senior players they can do it ! He’s a leader!! His energy is totally getting into the team!!
@@Cbart23 what a joke ! Unbelievable . The lads touch is out of this world , he basically played defensively the whole match, chased everything down, held his position , was trying to tell rashford to press . I’m a United fan as well,
Big Meeks has always been a lad but hearing him bring up Scotland is amazing! Well played to Big Meeks!! ❤️💪🏼
Micah is right. The Scottish accent in football commentary is special. Anyway I think the English don't dislike the Scots as much as the other way around. Great podcast. Love the banter. Keep it going guys. Thoroughly enjoying it from Malaysia.
Us English love the Scots, top people. The Scots deffo dont like us though😆
Bellingham was class, Kane on fire.. but Shearers curtains were man of the match
Ha, was just looking at them, WTF!😅😅.......just reached the bit where they discussed it😅
Matching tie and gadgie
Did you know that Shearer was so affected by those curtains he began to think he was a pair of curtains he attended the doctors looking for a cure but the doctor just told him to pull himself together.
@@patrickkelly7085I'll get your coat.
Alan shearer banter Is just class I think when Kane retires Jude for Captain
If think alot of people on youtube wont be around by then. This is youtube lol
@@godseye13klool
I’m glad somebody mentioned the curtains. I thought Alan Shearer was in a period drama.
I'm addicted to this pod! Great dynamic among the three and so many good stories!
Cheers from Portugal
Up there as the all time best intro into the podcast. Im dead 😂💀
Top man Micah, singing the praises of Steve Clarke and the Scotland team, another great show lads
3 seconds in and the laughter already kick in. What an intro by Alan 😂
Jude is a cross between Bryan Robson & Zidane.
He’s the best midfielder we’ve had since Robson, but also has that attacking guile, and creativity of a Zidane. If England do win a major tournament, it’ll be in large part, to Bellingham carrying them. He’s a player that can drag others up to their maximum level.
High praise that like! No pressure 😳
@@NathanSweeneytop players don’t succumb to pressure, they thrive under it. Plus, I don’t think Bellingham will see my comment
Paul Gascoigne?
These three never fail to cheer me up
Great to watch if you are feeling low mate
Love this podcast because guys are very light hearted refreshing and if my day does not start with laughter then you guys have me in almost tears 😭 😂❤
it's great to hear from them without the constraints of traditional media! can be themselves more and they're funny lads
I think Shearer had a couple of wines with the football ⚽️ 😂
Guinness added..he deserves it btw😊
Jude Bellingham has a quality about him that I have only seen once before. For those who have any knowledge of Australian Rules Football, Joel Selwood helped to transform the culture within his club from the age of 18. He cemented his spot in the senior team within his first year and won 3 league titles in his first 5 seasons. He captained the club for the next 11 seasons where, even in transition from a title-winning player group, Geelong only missed the playoffs in one season across his 16-year career (in a salary-capped/equalised league) and retired after lifting the cup in a title-winning season.
Jude Bellingham plays and speaks just as Joel does. There is something incredibly solid about Jude's character that will bring him success and lift those around him.
Love that Micah mentioned Udogie. He was definitely great that game. 😊
Perfect this trio. Micah is like the young kid getting shown the ropes
Alan Shearer opening the podcast made me confused when I first listened to the episode on Spotify, and now I need to watch the whole video thing xD
Everytime Micah says "Burst" I get a hit of serotonin
Really enjoyed, strangely hearing Alan on the *last* podcast saying have a good week like it was personal.
I have so far Alan, thanks. 😂
Alans intro was bloody funny 😂
Happy days. I have an hr left on my 12 hr shift and i was bored out of my brain. Thank u for posting this. Stay safe 👊
Bellingham represents England And invites, the whole country to get behind the team and campaign Great ambassador for who we are
Best opening of all 33 eps
That was the best intro yet!
Absolutely brilliant chemistry between these 3 legends...love it well done lads..
Micha is a legend off the pitch I’m assuming?
What an intro from Alan 😂😂😂😂
I love you guys I could listen to your podcasts all day makes my journey from London to Oxford go so quick thank you
I'm gonna say it, Bellingham is Steven Gerrard plus another level of athleticism. Long way to go, but amazing intelligence and commitment!
These always cheer me up. Thanks, guys. Keep em coming.
Best introduction ever!!!!
Listening from Cape Town South Africa! Such a great show, really informative, hilariously funny ( especially Micah's laugh! ) and the best football podcast out there. I'm a Man United fan, Neville's show is good, but yours is outstanding! Can't wait for each episode, thanks guys 👍🥰⚽️🇿🇦
You guys are just awesome! From an avid English football fan for over 20 years from California. Amazing podcast! Thank you!
Is there much interest in football over there ?
@@thomasharvey2896 now, yes. Mostly the Premier. There are several pubs you can go watch your team, even for the 4:30am games. I'm probably different because I grew up in South America, so I love the game. First match I watched here was an FA Cup draw, I instantly knew was the football I wanted to watch. Also, my parental nana ☺️ was from Liverpool moved to Colombia during the war. 🤙
Really enjoy this podcast, love Micah - good serious football discussion in a humorous atmosphere
As long as Bellingham has a team around him to shield him from the media, and he has also realised on a personal level, that it is of utmost importance not to get dragged in to the media world, then he has every chance to be one of the greats.
Micahs laugh is something else, kills me everytime
What a show. I love every episode! Keep up the good work lads
I would say Owen was a world superstar cut short, but otherwise I’m struggling to think of one as Gary says since 66
Becks?
Owen was nowhere near the level they’re talking about. It’s quite an exclusive group. Owen had pace but not Cruyff like skills skills if you took his oace away. Bobby Charlton was probably the closest. Ballon D’or winner, Beckenbaur called him the best midfielder in the world
Beckham or Rooney are the closest we've had to superstar.. Plus, to be superstar you gotta have fans all over the world. Jude is barely 20 years old yet the whole world already know his name. What he's doing in Real Madrid, is literally what superstars have to do.
@@JonathanStephenHarris I've just read your reply my friend and I agree with you. I also checked your channel out and you have a truly amazing skill set I have a 19 year old daughter who's ambition is to become a tattoo artist/ sfx make up design artist. Any tips or advice on how she should proceed with her dreams of 1 day becoming 1 or even both please? We are based in Birmingham UK 🇬🇧 x
that intro.... *chefs kiss* 😂
Great episode as always lads! Keep it up!!!
Everytime I don’t think it’s possible to top last episode, and Alan doing the intro has me bursting in laughter
Building something special lads great work once again! Quick question what club now playing in the lower leagues would you like to see make it back to the premier league?
Loving this podcast more by day !!!
Shearer definitely nailing the pints in the clubhouse before the episode. Got that nice rosey booze face 😂
Shearer’s landed a part as an extra in the new series of Downton Abbey
Nice to see Al soooo relaxed ;) haha another great podcast lads thank you
He’s so proud of his curtains, he’s set the focus of his camera on them, not himself. Top bloke 👍🏼
Well don Big Meeks for making sure us Scots got a mention. Great podcast as always
Thank u guys for the great Show👌. It's so funny and interesting to watch u guys, cause of your great chemistry, your different views and personalities. I watched everyone of them in the last two days 😂Without drinking, from my German view, Micah (Alan and Gary of course too) ur English Accent is Poesie for me😏 All the best from Germany.
It's a pretty exciting time to be an England supporter. In my lifetime, I can't recall us having such a strong offence like we do now and the last few tournaments. In the so-called "golden generation" and Rooney days, we used to labour through to get 1-0 wins against teams that were ranked 50 in the world.
Shearer’s curtains 😂😂
It’s not his golf club I don’t think, he’s just a member
Cracking cast as always, wish me luck for my op tomorrow, il be keeping my eyes peeled for every vid drop.
how good was rashys finish btw
This is a very hot channel. 3 people having a giggle but talking on serious football issues . Keep up the great work
The intro got me not gon' lie
Nice to see shearer kept his house a shrine to the time when he won the leaguenwith blackburn in the 90s
Or his local golf club 😂
I love how these guys bounce off each other !
So agree with Big Meeks about Scottish accent in commentary/punditry! Music to my ears! :)
Great banter lads
Top lads. Alan is great
Another winner. GREAT SHOW.😎
Love this podcast soooooo much 💯
Yes! I thought i was going to have to wait until next week for your appraisal of last night's match 😃👍🏻👍🏻
Totally agree with Gary on Bellingham and true greats but if there was ever a player that could be it’s him if he was from another nation we be raving about him. I think he is world class already can do everything in midfield and scores goals in big games and carrying Madrid already testament to him self and his family. Definitely future England captain. Absolutely love these podcast they have everything great story’s opinions and plenty of laughs ❤
All positive comments great work fellas!
This pod should have more subs ... love it ...
Alan Shearers curtains though 🤣
If you're using OBS, it can be a nightmare with audio, so I feel you. Sometimes it just chooses not to monitor audio for whatever reason or another... often for no reason.
Loved the intro.
Still waiting for that bean stew recipe from Gary :o
Gary to Alan: "Are you in an old people's home?"...
Who picked the curtains...Miss Marple???
7 min, think kevin keegan, 2 x bal on dor, played like carlos tevos re pressing before it was a thing, very underated in england
JESUS. ALAN. THAT INTRO BLEW MY EARDRUMS
All three are great 😊
We always seem to get things just at the wrong time. When we had ballon d’or Owen we had distracted Beckham, then when Beckham became a leader we lost Owen. We had the best goalkeepers when we had weak defenses and strong defense with weak keepers. If we had this Jude today we would have won the final, but when Jude hits his prime we won’t have a good striker etc etc etc
I have said this before but I vaguely remember Ruud Gullit at Euro 88 and I get the same sort of player quality (and if not more impressive) than Gullit was at 25 and Jude is 20!!
But you have to win a big one Jude if you are reading! 😉
This show is off the chain. Love it, man . Lol
Bellingham's progressive carries with the runs and pace of rashford cause's teams big problems
We surly should be favourites for the Euros
The best intro we’ve had so far 😂
Shearer coming live from the old people’s home 😂😂😂
Well, I'd say that, until beaten, France remains the best European team and they're the favorites of next year's tournament.
And while Jude Bellingham is the ballon d'or frontrunner, Antoine Griezmann might beat him to it if he finishes better in two out of three (league, Champions League and Euro), as he's having a world class season.
Love the pod and listening is a highlight of my day. Question on the back of the Henry interview; who do you think would be the most eloquent footballer to have on? Who might suprise us with their insight?
Best football podcast out there
big Meeks not knowing how to say Bellingham get's me every time.
I honestly believe that things like the golden boot, etc. should only include goals from open play and free kicks... Free kicks are 10 times harder to score from than penalties... Being a designated penalty taker in a team really pads your goal tally and with guys like Kane being strikers, gives a false impression... Son at Spurs last season would have won the Golden boot but Big Harry golden boy takes all the spot kicks...
Loved the Thierry Henry podcast
Big AL you on it, playing golf? You enjoying the 19th hole 🤠
Don’t think they’re that bad at the back! Walker = world class, Trippier = very good, Stones = world class
Er Maguire 😁
Trippier is world class also.
Loved the way Jude greeted Gianfranco Zola first. Probably appreciated that he was the only one of the C4 pundits who could pronounce his name properly!
You mean 'bellinum'
C4 football is absolutely dire. Uber pathetic. Absolute nobody's talking in boring old clichés about the most obvious things and add zero thought provoking insights. Just token morons. And Joe Cole. Oh please..talk about thick! Good lord
Bobby Charlton was a superstar, between 1964- 1968 was the best player in the world.
Rooney was definitely a superstar at 18 and was built like a grown man!
He even burst on the scene ala Big Meeks against arsenal
Yeah, Euro 2004 if he didn't break his foot against Portugal...who knows maybe they win that game. They targeted him early in the game with hard tackles smh.
When u look at it in the cold heart of day. We have 2 tournys to win something b4 this team breaks apart massive players aswell. 28 is along time for some to still be in the squad. Esp our main player Kane.
Reckon at his birth Micah laughed when the doctor spanked him. Good medicine hearing him laugh!😂
The defence for me is the best setup with Trippier / Stones / Maguire and Walker and his pace to tidy up but for me Rashford would be brilliant if he would PASS when hes around the box instead of shooting every single time as Kane does !!
What an intro 😂
Love how smashed Alan is hahaha.
More Guinness for Alan? ;-)
Everton's Jared Branthwaite will be one of Englands centre backs soon and for many years to come. I doubt he'll make the squad for the upcoming Euros but maybe he should.
