- In this video, I am painting my white refrigerator black using Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy and Rustoleum Semi-Gloss Protective Enamel.
I am doing a Mini budget friendly makeover on my kitchen. Eventually I'm going to rip everything out but for now I'm making small updates.
After refacing my cabinets, I decided to paint my refrigerator black. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, so there's no point in me replacing it right now.

IM DOING IT!! Thank you!!
That looks really good. Thank you
Wow Thanks for sharing I’m going to that as well
Wonderful job! I have the exact same fridge and plan on painting it, my new stove has a black and stainless steel finish with a black glass cooktop. Thank you for the tips.
Nice job.
Thanks!
Very nice! Do you add the acetone to the entire can or a little to your paint tray?
Tray. Thank you
How many cans did you use?
Can you please provide an update of how well the paint has performed?
It has held up well. The can better than the spray
Did you paint the rubber seal around the refrigerator? I'm thinking about doing my fridge the same
Yes I did. Just the outside of it
@IAmShaniNicole it's been 2 years, by any chance, did the seal get hard. Thank you for a quick response also
I appreciate it
Nice job - how did the insulation gaskets hold up after being painted?
I only painted the outside of the gasket. So the only part that's painted is a part you would see if you were looking at the refrigerator while it's closed. So it is holding up just fine
I did mine, and it's super rough! What did I do wrong? Also it attracts so much dust 😩
@@lakettawilson3094 did you thin the paint?
What all does the acetone do?
It thins the enamel
@@IAmShaniNicole thanks. Really considering doing this
cant you just use epoxy appliance spraypaint?
If that is your choice and as I mentioned in the video that's what I used on the handles
