I was in same situation in 2008.
I wasted 2 years looking for IT jobs to open and my friends pursued masters, either MTECH or MS or MBA. So don’t waste time. Make your plans, by the time you complete masters, the situations may settle down to normal job market.

I am an MCA student and i can explain the situation, there was a mass hiring in last two years and companies are not willing to hire new candidates has they got alot of freshers waiting on the bench.
They are alot of people for one job but not a single person with proper skills, even in my college out of 60 guys, only two to three guys know how to code and do development.
So there is no need to panic, if u are interested and got skills, nobody can stop u, just try to apply for jobs and build in public.
