నగరాల్లో ఉద్యోగాలు పోయి గ్రామాల బాట పట్టారు.

Exactly. Even in kings era, only few worked for Rajas with jobs. All had their kula vrutthulu. They were experts in their trade as it runs in their genes, blood for generations. MAny owned farm land, so they get vegetables, grain to survive. Small place to live with a well in house. So free water. They were self sufficient.
