I am VERY interested in seeing the prototype Asetek stuff in the future, tested some of their stuff there and man, those invicta pedals and wheelbase (paired with the Bavarian Simtec wheel) are insanely good. Though I think the Simagic P2000 pedals I tested in the rig that was next to the Rennwelten R8 are a better bang for the buck.
Definitely getting an Asetek wheelbase next though, felt the best out of any I tested there(Moza R16 on the Novus rig, Simagic alpha, Simcube 2 sport, VRS) and especially in comparison to my Moza R5.
As a miata owner I can confidently say that a Maclaren p1 is identical to a miata lol 😂

Great video and excellent coverage man! As far as motion rigs go, I've always wanted one, but at this point in my life, I'd rather continue waiting until I can afford the grand daddy of them all, The Force Dynamics 401CR Motion Platform. I figure if I'm gonna go the motion route, I'm gonna go BIG lol.
The LowSlider is as big as it gets for a price which is sensible, not crazy
chill out on the unfocused to focus effect/trick. when you stack clips with that effect over and over again it makes it almost painfull to watch. it can look cool but it can also make the hole video feel unfocused when only 1 out of 3 clips have the effect.

Until I win the lottery here in Canada eh! I am happy with 2 T300 bases; the Ferrari SF 1000 and Ferrari Alcantara Intregrale rims and TLCM; T3PA; and T3PA Pro pedals on a Playseat Formula Pro Red and Playseat evolution eh!

Not that I saw at the expo, however a bunch of cockpit manufacturers are now starting to offer turnkey solutions

SensIT! Does develop a haptic feedback seat. Basically a seat where 12 little Buttkickers are build in.
But they don't sell to the private market. They aim for companies like Sabelt which will eventually offer this seat under their brand next year.

fanatec with the shaft extention is something that I will have my eyes on but will probably come out in 2025 if they work on a lite version to delay the launch (apparently this is the reason why QR2 came out so late)

I wanted to see more on the motion rigs. Curious if anyone is making an affordable unit similar to eracing.
Define "affordable". Because it takes a lot on engineering to get things right in a motion rig. I think we found the best one until now, but "affordable" for the general public it's not.

Eracing will run roughly $4k shipped. That is the cheapest I found that I got some feedback from users from.
But yeah, haha, affordable isn’t the right word. Perhaps under $5k
The PT Actuator stuff is pretty affordable for what it is, I talked to the guy and he said the yellow one is 14k€, a comparable rig from other manufacturers costs a lot more. The Actoracer, which is not nearly as good, costs at least 20k€.

Those steering wheels at Asetek? I'd definitively look for them once they drop at Advanced Simracing
My main gripe is that the current wheel is absolutely dogshit looking, so seeing some D-shaped steering wheels definitively gives me a good reason to give a damn about them.
Yeah I’m not a huge fan of the look of the current asetek wheels. A lot of the other wheels they had there were made by other companies but are compatible with their wheelbases.

Fanatec with another sad performance and you're high if you think coming out with a slightly more powerful DD Pro with a slightly higher price tag is anything special. They are just getting it closer to the DD1 in power/price. Then they put out another overpriced wheel that 100 people will buy and a button box that will probably cost a lot more than the Porsche one.
I have no clue why they don't revisit the shifter or handbrake (which is currently shit unless you completely take it apart and put it back together with the components inverted then set the deadzones to 10/90 to stop it from constantly activating for no reason).
The newest thing they've done with pedals is rerelease the CSL Elites with a loadcell and clutch which ended up screwing over anyone who bought the CSL Elites without the loadcell when they weren't offering it for a year.
I’m disappointed all of these very expensive rigs have such little movement. Wish they took more after th yaw2 style

T7Pro from PROSIMU was so AMAZING too.. I discover this company and I was really surprise how it's powerfull and accuracy for all models. The one of the best surprise of the Sim Expo for me this year
