It would appear the best VR headset for the money is looking like the upcoming Pimax Crystal Light. So why are potential customers still not satisfied?
I have the crystal, as sole flight simmer the battery thing is a PITA. . . and the way you have to power it up is a PITA . . . and now it seem that the batterys are only lasting an hour or so and the thing is only a couple of months old. The light with itracking as a PC V stand alone is th holy grail. Especially now that the HP reverb is no longer going to be supported by windows. (I'll probably still buy one...)
I think the prices are alright but a lot of people (including me) outside of the 4090 bubble are already struggling to get somewhat playable performance with modern sims and current mainstream VR headsets. Upgrading to the crystal light without DFR would make it even harder. FFR was a viable option when we didn't have lenses with edge to edge clarity, but those times are thankfully over.

Ouch, the battery degraded that much & that soon! Not good.
Surprised to see some of the comments regarding Crystal Light, do people really feel it's not worth it without eye tracking?
