Update, the driver was fined £300, £85 Costs, £34 Surcharge and 6 Points on his license. I think thats a bit of a joke really when you consider how many lives he was prepared to put at risk just so he could get to the front of the traffic, my heart goes out to the Police who catch criminals only for the Judges to dish out sentences that do not do justice

Yep he could have been prosecuted for dangerous driving but the CPS chose a lesser charge because it was less costly to prosecute, the guy could have killed more people than Harold Shipman and he gets fined £300 🤯🔫
@@BarrieCrampton Glad you got a result at least. The punishment is light but if he already had points (probable judging by his driving?!) he’ll be on at least 9 by now or disqualified. His Insurance is going to be expensive.
You kept your cool better than some people, who probably would've chased him down and punched his lights out.
I wasnt sure of his reg and as luck would have it, when i did catch up there were 2 campervans and i wasnt sure if that was the driver otherwise im afraid i dont know what i would have done, i would most certainly have made a citizens arrest

That’s Insane. My mum was very nearly killed 3 years ago in a road traffic accident as a result of someone else’s dangerous driving. As a result a seeing things like this make me really angry as a result. I hope he does get prosecuted!

What an absolute maniac. It doesn't surprise me when I see Audi, BMW & Ranger Rover drivers pulling that sort of s*** but motorhome drivers are usually mature and steady.
I think the £300 fine and 6 points is taking the piss.

It could have being a case of multiple fatalities, it was just a hairs breath away from it. Vehicles where so close together ? It was without doubt a blessing that this was not a more serious incident. I hope he is arrested and locked up.

absolute nutter, probably stole it or in a rush somewhere, he almost wiped out the range rover in front too
and the cars on the left hand side and all the cars for about another 200 yds

he drove up the hard shoulder, then through the chevrons, then up the middle of two rows of cars, he was just a maniac who could'nt care less if he killed 30 or 40 people
