Can’t wait till the book release. Emily, you being honest about being overwhelmed is so helpful. So many of us feel exactly like this. To have someone like you on CZcams, who is honest about your family life and can say I get overwhelmed too’. I think people need to realise how full on your job is and you are a mum of three very gorgeous boys. I’m a mum of two boys, who are 21 and 24. They have both done the uni thing but they home again. They are very independent and capable, because we have brought them up to be. Like you and Matt. However, they still need our advice and being there. You and Matt are setting very good example. Love love love your CZcams posts.

Thank you for the idea to pull out everything for Christmas and make sure it's all there and make sure I didn't forget something. I also laid out all the stocking stuff to see what I need to get. This helped lots to see how it's all come together.

A local church should have some good ones to get involved in, or carols round the tree type thing (ours does for up to 11s anyway) with the delightful mix of kids in tea towel hats and angel wings! I just wanted to leave a comment to say I feel for you with all the birthdays in December. Christmas can be overwhelmingly enough without adding birthdays into the mix. I have my husband and 2 boys with December birthdays. It’s a huge juggle!!
I admire your disciplin to work out so much! Get up at 5:30 and Im still so tired that I dont get myself to work out a little. Work from 7 to 2, pick up the kids, start getting dinner ready at 5, eating, reading, bedtime. Chores, prep the next day and its 10, work another hour and Im just dead close to midnight. Im so excited for the holidays!
