Any update after one year?
I read that for the tent, you don't actually need a foot print at all because the floor's so thick. That also makes it good for people with dogs.
Id get the foot print especially if you plan on having a dog in the tent
I'd get the footprint anyway. Point being that the footprint *will* wear over time, and is replaceable. The floor of your tent isn't. Footprints are worth the money.
