Got my friend who’s a qualified solicitor to forward my cv and covering letter to the firm she works at. Worked so hard for a day to research the firm and write a good quality covering letter and tailor my cv. Still didn’t hear a word from the firm not even a rejection!
That's so frustrating - would recommend sending a chaser email if you wish?
Thank you for sharing your paralegal journey! I stumbled across a paralegal vacancy today which I was on the fence about applying to as I don't have experience in all the tasks and responsibilities set out in the job description. Lesson 2 gave me a kick up the butt - I might as well apply and try my luck and if I get rejected, I'll take it as another opportunity to practise writing covering letters. Thanks Sim!! No worries at all - I would recommend making one soon I'm ngl, because the waitlist for interviews can be so long for Flex and it may take you months to reach that interview stage.

This depends a lot on the practice area / law firm and location of the firm. From my experience, paralegal salaries therefore range from £18,000 a year, to even £35,000 a year or more.
