Damn Nicky is a good teacher!!! Maybe being a teacher was his life's path the whole time.
As gordon is sitting in a dark room calling himself the best teacher of all time lol
@@samuelemeryjiujitsu You are right. I know there was a big push for Nicky to compete and win but when you see the potential when he teaches I could see him coaching and producing a large amount champions and if I am honest becoming very financially well off in the process.
@@samuelemeryjiujitsu gordon is sitting in a dark room rooting for himself
@Jake pretty sure nicky would to where u think all these guys learned alot of what they know

Same here, great vids.

A testimony to Danaher is that his guys all become the best instructors around. Between Nicky and Gordon Ryan, the next generation of teaching is totally sorted.
Also Brian Glick. Check out his CZcams
How long did Nicky train with John
@@benhallo1553 a fairly good amount of time. Don’t know the exact amount of years he trained under John, but more than enough for John to give Nicky his black belt.
Yes sir, we'll said
Jason Rau is cool too
4:11 “How you feeling Gordon” lolz, love the dig
Excellent teaching, very precise, Nicky please start making dvds already
Nicky is a natural teacher !
Nicky's future is a bright one regardless if he continues to compete or just concentrates on teaching. He has the knowledge, skill and personality to be successful.
This type of BJJ combined with real Wrestling is what works . This MMA BJJ is the best
Lol Nicky saying their first and last names like John Danaher 😅
When I heard “Nick Ortiz,” instantly got excited for Nicky’s coaching career
I mean he was practically raised by Danaher
man, Nicky is actually a little Danaher... guy is a hell of a teacher... go B-Team!
The vibe is excellent in this gym.
Too good. Thank you guys for your consistent output.
I want Nicky as my teacher. I like the vibe from him.
Legit a great Jiu-Jitsu instructor🔥
Good to see Nicky putting out more content👊🏻
These videos are great for learning techniques, Even my coach has noticed my wrestling has improved because I’ve been trying and pulling off some moves I’ve seen in these vids, keep up the great work boys!
it's beautiful to see Izaak Michell and Nicky Rod play! Tks!
The humility this team displays is awesome
I like how Nicky Rod does a technique then changes with his partner but in the attack he looks for a counter all the time those counters are another teaching in its self
For those wondering abt Nicky Rods rashguard, it says "Fast-systematic Jiu Jitsu" in Japanese
Actually, for the language nerds (including me) I was wondering about that too. The word they have used, "Sokusei", with those kanji, is not a word in Japanese. So I think they have made it up. In Chinese it is a word though. It means "speed production" or "rapid development". In this context it probably refers to fast- tracking skill learning in BJJ. There is a word in Japanese that is pronounced the same, sokusei, but uses different kanji, 速成. That word in Japanese refers to a similar concept, ie, an 80/20 approach to learning, such as an intensive, fast-learning course. Either way, I guess it works for them. But confusing kanji with the intention of saying something that has a slightly different meaning is not uncommon. Even some of Gordon's tattoos are a little funky like that.
Man I really hope you guys put out an instructional by nicky he's a great teacher
Always awesome to see the boys rocking the harbor jiu jitau rashie. Much ❤️
Man I'm learning to love Nicky. GO NICKY!
Outstanding coaching. 💪
Awesome stuff
these are great thankyou !
I can listen to Nicky all day!
I used to wonder if I would train with dds or b team if I lived in Austin but now it’s not really a question, B team looks awesome
Did not know Nicky was this good of a teacher. Kids a prodigy
Awesome stuff!
I'd watch the living shit out of a Nicky Ryan instructional
this is amazing
Nicky is an amazing teacher
More Nicky Ryan breakdowns and classes 🙏
The dude is really good at teaching huh?
Thanks to this video… I think I’ve got the clap down
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤌
Amazing
bodylock passing and wrestling up -- 2 instructionals we need from Nicky
This is great stuff, would be rad to learn from Nicky Ryan directly.
WoW! Amazing how much knowledge he has at such a young age, he looks like he's 15..He did start training at 8 though.. cheers and roll safe!
He's in early 20s
Nicky is a very good teacher. Should do more vids
Nicky killing the game!
Like that inside grab set up.
I love Nicky ❤️❤️❤️ he is a beast and adorable, too 🤣
Good stuff
Interesting to see the fluidity that these guys move with is completely different to the guys in the background.. and those guys in the background probably look a hell of a lot better than me trying to do this! There’s a whole 4 steps in this drill man! I can’t remember that
It’s crazy how much younger Nicky looks here
Really?! It wasn't that long ago...
@@CountfilmsTV it’s that mop he got growing on his head making him age like his bro😂
nicky seems like a good kid i like him
Really nice content man ! Are you filming with the FX3 slog 3 ?
3:50 There's just a different feel to it when an actual wrestler does it.
That fluidity.
🤙🤙🤙

They are all Champs 😂 internet notices EVERYTHING 😂
@@CountfilmsTV way to get that visa!
Nicky is a great fucking coach!
Yep hands are good lot times when I wrestle when I pick up that single leg and then I start to run the pipe if the guy actually gets out of that or whatever comes up in that wizard you step forward into that I’m going right for that half Nelson over the top and you could spin them right underneath and go right for that arm bar they follow, you just drop right into an arm bar
We can see even in this old film that Nicly Ryan was a head of this time even at 16 y/o.
Bahaha yeah Nicky Ryan is 16 here!!!
This was very good
Nicky Ryan is a legend
@@CountfilmsTV Yes indeed he is. I went into class and did this straight away. No mess no fuss
9:38 the Barzegar👌
Good stuff fellas 🥩🦍
how funny is the way nicky calls everyone by their full name, that's so danaher, the influence is quite noticeable
front > back - 2:15 , 3:00
front kata - 7:20
What you shoot this on! Looks nice!
This teaches teaching
Nicky is pretty eloquent
7:52 what is Nicky Ryan saying about guillotines and the retracting movement of the choking arm?
Let's go Brandon! Nice moves
Good luck b team
👍🏼
Really slick stuff.
Dummy Sweep also called a double Ko-Uchi? Since the feet are on the side of a O- Uchi Gari but they but they use the top of the feet (albeit the opposite side) like the Ko-Uchi Gari I feel like I'm at a loss of which would be more appropriate. Double Ko-Uchi? Double O-Uchi? Seated Double Fakey Ko-Uchi? I can't decide. I have to stick with Dummy Sweep.
fucking spicy
Come up to waist. lol. Please keep showing this cause if you come up the waist your going for a ride. Please keep teaching this. Lol
has nicky talked about the split, especially from his brother?
Good luck trying to ankle lock Nicky with his cankles.
Is that nicky Rodriguez at 4:13
Nicky’s Calves are basically the size of my biceps… massive ;)
😂😂😂
very great instruction, is nicky injured?
I don't know, but from my point of view he's doing what an instructor should do, teaching and paying attention to the students and not training during class time
NRod got a shirt on. Must be filling up on that Texas BBQ.
Let’s go
1:17 - 3:42
6:37 - 7:15
8:00 - 10:10
When I defend the single I like to attack the elbow not the wrist, pull his elbow up as you drive your leg down. Great instruction as always! I learn a lot from watching.
Good job buddy no nothing really wrong with that. I was gonna go back and look how his hands are when he grabs that single leg
He joins the B Team??
Why would you force a double into a guillatine?
Camera angles kinda sucked during instructions js, loving the content though 💯
(edited)😅
YTB
Where is craig?????😭😭😭
Probably was in the UK for polaris during this vid
My coach would fuck me up if I was skipping steps in the drill.
Is it me or goes Nicky Ryan’s face look like a troll? 👹
Less talking more showin 😂
This was an informative video. However, the random cut aways to people in the crowd while the volunteers are actively doing the technique is unnecessary and frustrating. I want to see the technique the whole time Nicky is explaining it not the reactions of people seeing it be done.
Don’t come up to the waist. That’s bad advice. His whizzer is ineffective when you’re on the legs. Once you come up to the waist, you give him a useful whizzer. There’s many things you can do if he doesn’t fall from running the pipe, but coming up to the waist is a habit I try to break in everyone I’ve ever coached.
Try that shit against anyone who is good, and you will get your face smashed in the mat when he uses that whizzer hard and uchi matta’s your face to the mat. Stepping around is a JV wrestler mistake-it makes the whizzer even more effective. I personally like to head and arm them when they try to walk behind. It’s a nasty throw and takes zero energy on my part. So by all means, come up to the waist and walk around-you’re going for a ride.
What he showed by stepping in the middle with the bodylock is sound advice. If you end up there, because he pulled you up, then that’s exactly what you should do. But you don’t want to come up to the waist if you can avoid it. Finishing low is a much higher percentage. John Smith won many world championships and Olympic titles that way. Coming up to the waist just creates a scramble that can be avoided entirely.
The guys were not doing what was shown at all. Smh
😂😂😂
I must say. I am not a fan of Nicky Ryan's teaching style. Part of the excitement. To me. Is seeing the instructor actually doing the techniques as he explains them.
You betrayed your brother and your Danaher!!!
