Most of us Yankees fans, at least the ones in my circle, don't care about the World Series trophy or any of that. It's about the audacity to cheat at a level that is borderline fraudulent, which is a crime. And, it's about the insane "it's only cheating if you get caught" mentality of so many fans and players. The aftermath of all this has been disgusting. Fair play has to matter, and it has to matter above all else, even above winning a lucrative championship.

I'll never forget that world series game Strasburg started. In the first inning the astros hit every ball to the wall. They knew what was coming. After that they couldnt touch him. In the post game interview Stras said someone informed him he was "tipping" which now we know the whole "tipping" thing the astros were so good at picking up on is mostly if not entirely baloney. Same goes for that game in Tampa. At this point I'd be more shocked if they weren't cheating. The report only says they did anything in 17 and not through 19 is because 2017 is the only year it was irrefutable and anyone could prove simply by watching youtube clips. Can't really do that if they're wearing buzzers.

And, to accept that help...well, to me that is a character issue...now all of his hitting successes come into question. This changes a plate appearance into a batting practice appearance. I just cannot accept it. Altuve now represents another f'ing cheater like Maguire and Bonds et al.

He was wearing a buzzer and knew if the team ripped his jersey off, the cameras would see that shit instantly.
