- Hey everybody! In todays video we are sewing along to the Zadie Jumpsuit! This is a pretty popular pattern in the sewing community. I'm happy I finally got around to sewing it! A few things to keep in mind, this pattern has a lot of ease in it. Depending on how you like your garments to fit, you may want to downsize a size or two and or make some modifications to your crotch curve. I cut the 16 for the bust and graded to the 20 for the hips. It's a oversize/loose fit and I like that.

Wow! What a fab tutorial. I am very much a novice but i understood all your instructions. I don't have an overlock/ serge machine so i would need to pick a stitch that lets me do both jobs. There's a couple on my machine. Nice calm chat. Could have listened to you all day xxx 😘

I love your jumpsuit and the sew along was great. I found your video just after I left my sewing room with my pattern and fabric (linen) all laid out to get started on my Zadie tomorrow. Perfect timing! Based on the finished garment measurements in the instructions and other advice I’ve seen, I’m going to size down one size for the bodice and two for the pants and use the lengthen/shorten lines on the pattern to reduce the rise by 1.5”. And I picked up a few tips from watching you! So now I’m all set. Thank you Brittany!

I have recently purchased this pattern and your video has given me confidence to make it up! It was extremely clear, I don't have a serger so I can see alot of zig zag stitching in my future 😂

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am almost done making the jumpsuit (my first time using a pattern by myself) and your video has helped me so much :) As I don't have an overlocking machine, I did French seams (1/4 seam WST, trim, 1/4 seam RST) for all my seams and it has worked out well with the jumpsuit being quite forgiving size wise. Makes me almost long for the dark long winter nights again, here in the UK. So that I can cosy in and get on with this.
