Geeezzz I love that plane & the colors. I have a Cessna 150 & Mooney would be the only low wing I would own. Nice.

Recent subscriber, really enjoy the content. I just started my ground work for my instrument. Hope to take the knowledge test by June, then bust out a bunch of flight training.

Good job. My advise for your instrument training would be to focus on basic instrument flying skills. If you fly on the simulator a lot you’re already familiar with procedural stuff such as approaches, arrivals, and departure procedures. Focus on basic skills, like the private pilot syllabus does, with climbs, turns, descents, climbing turns, descending turns, but do it on instruments under the hood. A B patterns work well for this. Search it online, print it off, and fly them. A good scan is critical, just like your CFI said, and flying these patterns forces it, practices it, and makes you a better instrument pilot. Just my 2¢. One other piece of advice is to do it quickly. It’s hard to develop those skills if you go long periods in between lessons. Good luck with your training. I think it’s the most rewarding rating you earn.

Just got my instrument rating. Good luck to you! I found the training to be easier than private. Hope it goes well for you.

I've flown into Jekyll multiple times, love the people at Reb Bug Motors there at the airport. Always at least 2 big dogs laying around needing a good pet and some younger kids working at the shop getting their hands dirty. Great place! Also all the crazy dead/bleached trees on the NE beach part of the island. Great place. You should try Cedar Key on the west coast of Florida also, fun little place to land and drive around a golf cart for the day.

I second the Cedar Key recommendation.

Nice place to fly, you need to fly to meet Tucker one time and then from there you should visit CitationMax, I am sure it will be a lot of fun :)

One of the things I’ve noticed since you took up GA is how important it is for Paramotor Pilots to be visible. It would be very easy for a GA aircraft to come in behind us and never see us and of course, we can’t see behind us.

Yep. Important for PPG pilots to understand airport operations and fly with a radio 🙂

I recently bought a M20E and have enjoyed watching your channel and seeing your experiences, so thank you for sharing. What yoke and/or PTT button do you have? I just have basic buttons inline velcroed to my yokes but I don't love them.

It’s just a standard PTT. It was wired in before I bought the plane. My copilot seat has the Velcro one.
