Its pretty simple, your build up percent = your crit chance percent. At 100% crit chance and I got 100% elemental build up, one hit with my bow and everything was instantly burning, great axe for sure.
Ah nice, this likely wasn't the case for me on this build because my elemental build up was higher than my crit chance.
For me this is where the dlc ranked for me of the past 2 games.
Hidden Ones - 9/10 - fun story, awesome outfit. First time in origins you actually felt like an assassin and i was getting Brotherhood vibes being the mentor of the order and all.
Curse of the pharaohs - 10/10 - Amazing story, awesome armor sets, Amazing weapons. And being able to explore 4 afterlifes was so much fun and at first you feel like you have tons of content before you. Also loved that Bayek was much older and wiser.
Legacy of the first hidden blade - 5/10 - Fun to work with technically the most traditional assassin type character the series is known for. Other then that not much memorable stuff happened. Alexios version is much better and is a 6/10 but kassandras version was so horrible and you didnt buy her relationship with her lover. Overall pretty forgettable except for Darius.
Fate of atlantis - 7/10 - (score can change).
Overall it was very fun to explore the 2 new maps. The new abilities are awesome and the new outfits are some of the best in the series as well as the design of the new weapons. But other then that its abit of a letdown. No trial of the gods yet which was one of origins best content and would be a fantastic addition to odyssey. Its all a simulation and not the actual afterlife so therefore everyone seems lile a computer to you with no actual living conscious so lots of things you did felt as if they didnt matter unlike in origins. Most of the dlc is you climbing hundred foot mountains. And the big letdown is it actually has nothing to do with atlantis, like if we went auqaman status and got to swim very fast and get underwater abilities now we're talking. But overall it was fun and exciting to fight Hades even if he was a simulation.
There are these gates you can use which will teleport you to the top of most structures, so you don't have to climb. Also the Atlantis part comes in the last episode where will actually go to Atlantis.
@@buschkoeter I know it was just either most the time the portals were on the otherside of a mountain or some kind of long distance away where by the time i get there i could already be at the top by just climbing.. Then there was objectives on top of mountains with no portals in sight.. Either way it was annoying.. But yeah cant wait for part 3!
On the blade of the Hades’ Executioner it says Chaos, which was the first God/Entity in Greek mythology before the birth of Time. Also, Chaos is Hades’ great grandfather.

The cursed Spear of Achilles would be overpowered in a Conquest Battle… you’d have a constant 50% damage boost.
Thanks for telling all about this I just finished the fate of Atlantis Episode 1 and I’m definitely playing the second episode.
it means that now when fire damage occurs, it can be crit. you see it clearly happening at 9:05 of the video. one enemy gets 3380 in red (regular fire damage), the other 6836 in yellow (crit damage).
Hopefully the last episode will be going to olympus and taking zeus' lightning bolt. I was hoping that we would get lightning damage from that one Cyclops but maybe this'll be how.

That perk makes your fire damage crit. At least I think. Every tickle is giving around 3000 damage but sometimes it ill give yellow numbers with 6000 damage

ALPHA GAMER Eh, the upgraded vanish ability is nice, an easy few shots and a shit ton of damage when using the abilty whre you put your spear in the ground after falling and get a ring of chaos effect, I do alot of damage so that ring could easily wipr atleast 75% of a mercernary’s health

I find that poison sword to be very impressive. I might just use it someday. As for the others they look so badass.
If you have 100% crit chance with the hades ability, enemies are instantly burned or poisoned, elemental build up is not required, that’s what I’ve experienced.

DLC is awesome! Enjoying using it to escape away from exam revision. Although not too far as my exam is in Classical Greek Archaeology! 🏺🏛😂

I don’t know if I’m the only one that thinks that this is annoying, but whenever new armor sets, weapons or enemies have been leaked you always seem show them in your thumbnails.
I always look forward to when new things are added so I can see them for myself in the game, but when you put pictures of them in your thumbnails it’s really hard to not spoil it for myself.
If you would be able to at least not put pictures of amours and weapons in Thumbnails until after they’ve been released in-game that would be really amazing:)

about the thing with crit chance and elemental buildup engraving: it affects the accumulation of fire/poison based on the crit chance %
Yo Jor, I just completed the daily orichalcum quest and received 22 instead of 11. Hopefully it’s going to stay this way so I can get the rest of the legendary items from Sargon
I did the legendary ship yesterday and got 88 instead of 44.
Great DLC if you ask me, and I was MEGA excited to see that axe was a quest reward. Once I got it and saw that it was added assassin damage I was put off it. The obvious choice was that it should have been warrior damage increased, not too sure why Ubisoft went with assassin...🤔
Just engrave it on a different weapon and use the skin. The whole gear system in this game is so flexible that you shouldn't be worried about something like that.
I call the fallen set the balanced set bcuz it has everything damage type in a balanced way

Would prefer the Greek spelling of Achilles (Akhilleus). Also problematic is that Perseus, Akhilleus and Agamemnon all go to Elysium and Herakles becomes a god, marries Hebe and lives on Mount Olympos! But other than that I’m really enjoying the DLC!

It's simple 100% crit chance and every hit with that perk on your weapon and u will make poison or fire damage with one hit
Perhaps it means 90% crit chance= 90% elemental buildup ?! 🤔🤔🤔 And só on and so forth
It seems the perk you mentioned , with fire elemental buildup is doing critical damage while they are burning.

I've seen this "pendulum axe/scythe" in other fictional works, like The Mummy Returns. Is this a historical weapon? The chinese have what's called "Monk's Spade", but I don't know if it has an European equivalent and name.

I'm not too sure how i feel about the dlc, i like that the quests weren't super filler like recruit x amount of people in x region, but I also dont like the shortness of it. I had alot of questions that werent answered. I would say them but I dont wanna spoil it. For a dlc it's a solid 8/10 but my expectations for length were around the 1 - 2 days if you played for around 4 hours a day and not one 4 hour session. I'm fine with the dlc, some stuff doesnt make sense, I like the fallen system, liked the character of hades as a whole, was glad to see some familiar faces and see their reactions. As a whole it wasnt the worst thing I've played. I'm not a huge fan of this episode's enhancements, it could be because I dont use 2/3 skills, but I like the Ares last breath one. It's super useful when you're surrounded by enemies.
Oh and if you didnt like going up against the isu guys who drained your adrenaline constantly fear not! I did the entire main story in 3 1/2 hours and didnt fight a single isu in the main story, I fought some after I beat the main story but you dont go up against a single Isu if you play from start to finish.
Edit: I'm not a huge fan of the legendary effects either, probably because I'm not too huge on taming and elemental stuff when making builds, but they just seemed extremely underpowered, but they werent the hardest things in the world to get either. I like the design of the weapons though they are really pretty! You'll most likely get most (or all) of the legendary weapons so I cant say to not go after them, but I'll most likely make a build or two surrounding it
and, a helmet in the game you get is actually the best thing, the legendary engravement is 100% damage with torches which I find to just be absolutely hilarious. It had me dying for a few minutes but it made sense, I cant wait to mess around with these new weapons I got tho!
Found you can get legendary engraving and put it so you can have full health and go through rifts with your regular armour

what would be great is if you could change all the stats of any weapon say you are a hunter build there`s a bow you like but it has assassin damage could change it from that to hunter damage would really help with using any weapon in the game be great love to see if it could be added :)
