Instead to use battery for soldering how about to put a little spoon,it is already bent if you want to use it again for such work.😉.

Una cosa es ablandar las cadenas reticulares de un termoplástico y otra es sobre alentarlo se quemaian dichas cadenas lo cual no serían compatibles compatibles con otro elemento plástico sin saber además que tipo de polímero estamos tratando.

The costs of the repair materials is far more than the price of the stool. Just the can of paint is twice to price of the stool. Better to to send the stool to be recycled and buy another one to replace it, or make one out of wood that's less likely to break.
Just buy a new stool. It'll be safer in the long run.
