I've made several of these in several different types of yarns as gifts for important women in my life and they're always a resounding hit. Thank you for making the pattern and companion video. I'm quite dyslexic so often struggle with written patterns and abandoned crochet for over 20 years. Between the pattern and companion video to help me along when I've lost track of how to end a row, I've refound my love for yarn arts.

Hi. I managed to find the correct version. THANKYOU. Struggled with row 4 from your previous video but ultimately FOUND YOU again. THIS ISNT FOR BEGINNERS but with MANY PAUSES I managed to crochet 11 rows. Didnt count the flowers and on the following row, realized that I didnt have the entire flower and forgot a back post 😁😁😁 rip rip rip. Beginners syndrome is NOW OVER. Continued your pattern until my eyes burnt with fatigue. Maybe two more sets of repeats and I'M DONE. I owe you SO MUCH GRATITUDE AND LOVE for updating this video. Love the color of your nails.

@@jolieknotscrochet3550 You're so welcome :) I have been trying this shawl out with many different types of yarns..especially LOVE the look with wool/acrylic blends like Premier Spun Colors and Ice yarns Lana Bella, they are so beautiful. So to anyone making this...you might also like to try a 30% wool/70% acrylic yarn. I think it will look gawgeous in Universal's Sequin Lite yarn with the sequins..am going to try this next. What I ADORE about this pattern is the way the shawl grows out fairly quickly. It makes you feel like you're getting somewhere unlike a lot of shawls where you feel like you've been crocheting forever and it never grows, lol. I have to say this is one of the most perfect patterns "growing wise". Also (I can't boast enough about this shawl :) I love that it keeps you interested with several different rows so you're not repeating the same 1 or 2 rows over and over. Just a wonderful, satisfying piece of work here. Everyone needs to have this on their hook, lol! So in love with this :)

Absolutely gorgeous pattern! I can't wait to get started, I just had some yarn imported from Italy and I know just which skein I'm using for this project. I have nearly 1100 yards, so I think I should have enough to do the shawl and *possibly* a border. Thanks so much for sharing, your talents are impressive! BTW: Do you have a place where people can upload photos once we're finished making a project using one of your patterns?

I recently finished your Puff Garden shawl....and oh my word, it is gorgeous. I used Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes in the colorway Cat’s Eye. When I see an unboxing of yarn, I see a yarn that would work for that shawl. I send them to your channel. That pattern is just too pretty to not be used on the daily! I just purchased the written pattern on Ravelry. I will be making many of these in different colors...oh, the possibilities! Thank you so much for a wonderful tutorial!

I would just like to say that I really appreciate you calling your slip knot the "backwards slip knot." When I first began crocheting, I couldn't figure out how or why the videos that I watched made it look so effortless to pull your yarn and and close the hole up. It took quite some time for me to figure out why my slipknot wouldn't close. These small things can make such a difference. Thank you!!!
