- The official street date on this is october 14th but it's been exclusively available a month early at Gorgon Video. Quite frankly at this point I would advice anyone who wants one to pre-order from somewhere else as the price will probably be way lower. I mean the set isn't even released yet but Amazon has knocked it down to 70 bucks (!?) already which is way more reasonable than Gorgon's pre-order deal at full retail (99 USD).

Holy fucking crap! That is one awesome looking boxset. And I'm totally with you on that poster, would have loved to see that as the cover artwork. Would have felt fresh and new. Not that there's nothing wrong with having Leatherface on the cover of each and every edition there is of this fantastic film. Could just be fun for the fans and the collectors with just something different for a change.

That is an awesome edition. I love the 18 Weeler design on the box, it's something that everyone associates with the movie. I've hear people talk about the set without actually having it and saying how cheap the box looks, so I'm glad they made it as sturdy as they did. I really like the image on the Blu-ray case as well and the apron is a nice touch. It was also nice that they included a free copy of 'Eaten Alive'

Shame they put the 5th disc exclusively in the Limited boxset. Are there any other releases worldwide that have the disc, or the content just included on one of the discs?
So far the only set that comes with the extra disc (and it's content) seems to be the black maria version. Then again there are new editions popping up every day so I wouldn't be surprised if it will be available somewhere else pretty soon.
Man. The standard CE packaging and design is a thousand times cooler, imho.

The fith disc is exclusive. If you don't have a bluray, you can get the dvd here too.
