Procrastinating instead of getting ready for work. Thanks 👍
Glad you’re spending your time wisely by watching this video 😎
SAME LOL
Both Dumbo and Chicken Little filled me with existential dread as a kid for their nihilistic portrayals of society and human nature.
Great video Zeepsterino.
Honestly the third Aladdin movie is not that bad. Does a good job wrapping up the tv show
The Aladdin sequels got bad reviews from the critics that were comparing the quality of the very big budget theatrical movie, rather than the fact that Aladdin 2 was a tie in/prequel/pilot to the TV series. I forget the exact details of what was pitched first, sequel or TV series. None of the sequels to Aladdin were bad, considering they were just 80 minute TV episodes, and they did get Robin Williams back for the third one.
this and lost jim henson content are my deep dive drug. dope video
Thank you!!
I've always HATED the label they gave Short Subject or Mickey Mouse in Vietnam. It's so interesting, it's never been really lost Disney media. It still airs at film festivals occasionally.
But people couldn’t find a copy of it
Gfm did a vid abt it being lost czcams.com/video/W9Oqx9rQvio/video.html
@@SonicXtreme99akaCreeperMario some university student remade Short Subject/Mickey Mouse in Vietnam but it hasn't been seen since then by the public.
Chicken little is actually often used in speed runs in kh2 he’s just that useful
my grandmother told me she watched uncle walt she doesnt remember but she told me the people liked it and she also confirmed that all the info of what it was like was true she was excited when i showed her the clips you had she was born in 1943 so its probably true ill try to get more info
its pretty unlikely ill get more info though as shes 78 and has alzheimers
Fun fact: because of how popular the Yellow Submarine movie was it was it helped pushed the idea that animation movies made with an adult audience in mind was possible which is how movies like Fritz the Cat came to be
I don’t know why, but I’ve always hated the mention of SHORT SUBJECT or Vietnam Mickey Mouse. It’s never really been lost and yet it was always in the lost Top Ten videos.
Great video as always!
Um…. What are you talking about? It HAS been lost for a while. Yknow, after the Vietnam war. Have you even listened to those videos? It wasn’t found until the 2010s or something. #dobetter
@@lambiegabby4055 🤓
@@Doctorwhofan451 wow real fucking mature man
@@lambiegabby4055 Keep in mind the 2010s is when I entered into the Lost Media scene. Even then the way that it was discovered was “oh somebody left it in the trash”.
Even then channels like ThatCreepyReading and blameitonjorge had discussed it when it was already found.
I love the animated sequels at least they're better than the remakes. I grew up with a ton of them. I didn't watch the 1st Lion King or Hunchback until quite a few years after watching the sequels because that's what we had but i love Hunchback 2 and Lion King 1 1/2 and 2 as well as the original movies once i watched them. I love Disney with only Mars needs Moms and inside out being the only movies i either didn't like or even hated. But i have become tolerate of Inside out as ive gotten older.
I haven’t watched the Lion King sequels! I should check them out.
@@zeepsterd I liked that the 2nd one was based on a Shakespeare play like the 1st one but Lion King 1 1/2 was much funnier and by far my favorite of all 3 films.
Imagine if some execs at Disney saw Ethereal Snake's Mickey Mouse videos and instead of taking them down endorsed them. Like did a remake of them in the style of the Paul Rudish Mickey cartoons. Impossible I know, but it'd be funny to see.
What's been taken down? I looked it up to watch it and saw a bunch of them on the channel
@@user-hp7gc2oy7d I didn’t say that they took down those videos. I edited to make it more clear to people like you
Who peed in your oatmeal? Your comment is worded as if they have been removed. In the future just try and be clearer if being misunderstood bothers you. No need for the implied insult on my intelligence.
@@user-hp7gc2oy7d Sorry I wasn't in a good mood at the time
Never thought we get to revisit these again!
I haven’t watched the video yet but I am PRAYING you talk about the “On The Front Lines” WW2 shorts
Like no seriously. Donald was a n*zi for like a whole short before waking up from the nightmare in a room full of American flags and shit. It was wild to watch just because my grandpa thought it was a great idea to show me as a child
Speaking of forgotten, I forgot that I robbed McDonald's and got a Santa Clause sack of Big Macs. Who wants some?
Hand me one over here.
@@zeepsterd You got it
gonna be honest, you're the 1rst person i've ever heard say they not only liked chicken little, but also liked the father-son dynamic-
for me the movie always felt off from it- because the dad treated him like garbage through 95% of it- but- my childhood wasn't grand so i may see it in a more negative light
super interesting to hear your interest in it though !
nobody asked; but my childhood movie i rewatched countlessly was the iron giant !
If we're talking dark Disney lost media, it's pure everlasting darkness.
Here's what's missing in this video: Mickey and Minnie Mouse Sex Tape, the original cut of Alice in Wonderland(1951), Early Concept Stage of Epic Mickey(2005-2008), Kingdom of the Sun, and Kingdom Hearts(2002 Disney Channel Cartoon).
@Princess Pixel Good thing the first one mentioned in this comment was a hoax and the Kingdom Hearts Disney Channel Cartoon finally released in mid October of 2022.
@Princess Pixel It was made in the US, and handled by Seth Kearsley. Here's the link:

I don't know if I'd count unofficial parody cartoons as "Lost Disney." At least they never copyright claimed them the way Warner Bros claimed "Double Wide Surprise." Which, heh, means that Double Wide Surprise IS an official WB cartoon. Certainly a LOT more creative and fun than the tediousness of Mickey in Vietnam. Even that other Mickey and Goofy in Nam is more entertaining and less of an "I'm an ARTEEST!" college art project.
Micky in Vietnam wasn’t really meant to be seen as “fun”. During that time period a lot of younger people, especially creatives, were protesting the awfulness and basically unneeded death trap that was the Vietnam war…the point was to show that signing up for the war wasn’t this grand heroic and adventurous thing the government wanted people to believe it was so showing a character like Micky who naively signs up and then is killed is ment to shock people to the reality of war. Its shocking on purpose to make a point and tell people “hey don’t sign up and go to war”
@@thelonleyUchiha1 I know ALL about what was going on at the time, but it doesn't mean that this was a nothing cartoon with nothing to say but "War: BAD!" It's just an art school student walk cycle exercise punctuated with "dead childhood character." Almost as if it WAS an art student walk cycle project that anti-war "satire" was pasted over. It doesn't speak to power, it doesn't have a real message. There were far more powerful voices that actually had something to say back then, and this was hardly a protest so much as slapping on anti-war ephemera on a class assignment.
i got an ad for disneyland paris right after you showed mickey mouse in vietnam
We eating good tonight because zeep uploaded
As a beatles fan, the yellow submarine (2009) just looked, off? it felt so wrong. It worked amazingly well as a 2d cartoon, and it could work in 3d but not like that. Basically could work with the truly theme but is off with the style to the vibe in the movie.
I don't know how or why... But that Dumbo 2 gave me the BIGGEST wave of nostalgia. An odd thing for something that I've never heard of before to do... God i would of loved to see a movie like that.
I don't think you've seen Chicken Little in years if you think the father son relationship was cute. Buck Cluck was a bad father who was more than happy to throw his son to the wolves and only cared about his son when things were going well for the kid
I love The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. And the Aladdin tv show set between the two movies
Lol the whiplash from the dark Disney cartoons made by other ppl back to the fluffy shit, just damn my neck hurts XD
You forgot to mention all the shit that was apparently planned for Treasure Planet had it succeeded, mainly a tv show and a direct to video sequel which were in the works before the movie even released in theaters. Apparently the even planned to have Willem Dafoe voice the villain in the sequel. Sadly, due to the movie bombing in theaters, neither the show nor the movie really ended up making it past the pre production stage.
Didn't know Willem Dafoe was gonna be in it, that would've kicked ass.
The Aladdin sequels were a backdoor pilot and series finale for the animated series respectively. People that like those movies more than likely grew up watching that show.
Great.
Now I'm gonna have the song
one little slip
stuck in my head all day today.
I LOVE "RETURN OF JAFAR",
But YOU'RE Too Young To
Get It Til' You Watch It &
The Annimated Series!!
Uncle Walt was the first piece of lost media I heard about.
The thing about Aladdin is that I've seen some that are fans of the sequels (more often the third one due to Aladdin's relationship with his father and the return of Robin Williams) and seem like some of the better sequels of that era.
I WANT KEEPING IT WEEZER MAKE BELIEVE
IT’LL COME OUT EVENTUALLY.
Walt Disney wanted to find out who made that short in 1972, six years after he died?
Wait.. Chicken Little was made by Disney? I thought DreamWorks made this!
Nope, it was Disney!
@@zeepsterd I keep forgetting that it's disney,it doesn't feel like a disney movie
I'm not going to say that the motion capture style footage of the Beatles that has been shown doesn't have a weird charm to it. As a piece of art in and of itself, it is good. However I still stand by my sentiment when it was first announced of stay the bleep away from my Beatles.
Interesting topic
Disneytoon Studios Company alongside Circle 7 Animation Making sequels to some of the most beloved movies Like Lion King Or Aladdin
RIP Circle 7.
"Most twisted lost Disney cartoons"
the animators were so happy and loved the original and wanted to send a great message.
C'mon, bruh. You're entertaining enough to make it without dishonest, clickbait titling.
Finally! Someone talks positive about chicken little
I actually like some Disney dvd sequel, like the Aladdin sequels, Little Mermaid 2, Lion King 2, Goofy 2,Beauty and the Beast 2 and Cinderella 2 and 3
I loved The Little Mermaid 2 when I was a kid. Maybe even more than the original.
Is Mickey on Vietnam even an official thing? It seems to be one of those fan made animated videos on youtube.
OH MY GOD! I feel so upset! He said he loves all 84,000 of us! But he has 84K.9 I am so offended I’m gonna cancel u on twitter! 😡
UH OH.
Thats so funny I literally talked about Return of Jafar yesterday..
11:09 is this from the book cause I don't remember them ever calling him anything other than chicken lmao
2:29 Bro WTF are you talking about? Return of Jafar is THE best selling direct to VHS of all time and it's 15th best selling overall. It made 300 million dollars on a 5 million dollar budget.
Return of Jafar made more money than Dumbo 1941 even when you only adjust the latter for inflation.
The Vietnam war was crazy.
1:49 I will defend Lady and The Tramp II to death
Lady and the Tramp 2, 101 Dalmatians 2, Lion King 2 (and 1 1/2), Cinderella 2 (and 3), and Fox and the hound 2. (Mulan 2 to an extent as well.) Those are like the only Disney direct-to-DVD sequels that I think are worth seeing period.
This is history
I actually liked Aladdin 2, but I mostly just liked Jafar's genie form.
Well Mickey the story of a mouse is coming out
King of thieves was actually my favorite 😂
U are epik(: and I hope u get better 😀👍
TYS was just about some submariner telling tales of the sea to young folk.
94.3k so close pal
Whe I looked at the chapters and saw
"Mikey mouse in vietnam"
I was like
WHAT. THAT EXISTS
HOLY MY OH MY GOD just wow
I had no idea that it exists
Jesus Mickey got freaking shot jesus
He died oh god oh god holy moly plus the second is weird as heck
haha yes yet another lost "template" video, But fr I love these videos lol.
11:41 I feel sorry for you😔
