2023 TF - CIF-ss Masters - High Jump (Boys)

This is the Boys High Jump at the CIF-ss Track & Field Masters Meet held May 20 at Moorpark High (CA). CIF-ss Masters is the qualifier for CIF State, with the top six athletes, as well those making an at large qualifying mark, moving forward.
There is a story here but we don't have it. Gorski clears 6' 9" here and easily wins the Section crown but it is 5th-place Zack Owens who goes to State and wins it. Wins it with a 6' 7". That is the nature of high jump. Owens had his PR in Finals (6' 8"). On one day and off the next.
