Unless theyâre terrible, awful people. My friends plan on cutting their parents out of their lives as soon as theyâre able to move out and I support them whole heartedly because their parents are terrible people.
Cut out family members if theyâre abusive, toxic, etc. I donât give a damn if you say that their parents âraised them,â because my friends are having to cook, clean, and take care of everything for their parents, all their parents do is pay the bills and yell at them. One friend plans to move to New York, me and the other friend decided that weâd go to New Orleans and be roommates.
So yeah, if you hate your parents, itâs most likely for a good reason and you should NOT get in contact with them, unless it was only teenage frustration and hatred due to bullying.

Tears just exploded from my eyes. My mom passed in 2013, and my biggest regret in life is how I treated her while growing up. I was so unappreciative and ungrateful for her unconditional love. She would give me and my sister her last to make sure we had! Luckily I've grown up a lot and had major reality checks. Losing her literally destroyed me! As a mom now myself, I finally get it! I would give my everything to make sure they had! It's a struggle, but I never want my boys to feel this pain.
