This Brazilian team was way too old, even for today standards, especially in defense. You had younger players led by Pelé,Jarzinho,Tostão,Edu...but team as a whole was in a crosshair between old guard and new blood still not taking over fully. When next generation fully took over 4y later it became greatest team ever in world cups.

@@amooolusina6978 he was the best player in 58, socring a hat trick in the semi final and 2 goals in the Final. In 62 he was the best player in the world but got injuried in the second match. In 66 he was still the best player in the world. By the he already had destroyed several european teams and his superiority was atested by all the other players in the world.
