    • @pranesh
      @pranesh  Před 2 lety +6

      No cure as of now and no specific remedy to stop progression. Potential treatments are under study.
      Regular consultation with your eye doctor and using low vision aids could help utilise your existing vision. I would recommend visiting premier institutes such as LVPEI, Aravind or Sankara Nethralaya.

      Unfortunately, we don't have a practical curative treatment in India and very limited therapy options in UK/US. But with low vision aids, we can optimise the existing vision in the best possible way.

    Just having listened further into your video, I cannot re-emphasize my previous points emphatically enough once entire senses, even though you are technically uttering English words, that we are really hearing a foreign language, and that is most unfortunate. Help your listeners out and learn how to speak in a way which is compatible with their sensibilities.

  • @josephmarcello7481
    @josephmarcello7481 Před 2 lety

    Thank you for the valuable information.. but I would urge you to reconsider your manner of presentation.. first of all, due to your native rhythms, your way of speaking English is unnaturally accelerated and truncated, which creates a tense and choppy effect upon Western news. Perhaps it strikes you as a form of mental and verbal efficiency, but not so, as the brain of your listener has to work harder to unravel your circumlocution. Likewise you may want to listen to some American English speakers I noticed how far more relaxed and spacious they're phrasing is, without the rapidity and tension which characterizes your native rhythms while it is clear that you are intelligent is also clear that you do not have a good sense of the natural speech patterns of your English speaking brothers and sisters. Remember you are not speaking to your countrymen, but rather to those who were not born in your native land, and do not have the same neurological conditioning that you do. In brief, slower, softer, more relaxed, more humane, less professional, less mechanical. You can do it, simply take a deep breath and exhale and think of how you felt when you were a little boy.
