The End of Days is one of the most impressive looking finishers ever! The Deep Six is good, but not better than the End of Days!
Exactly.
Only drew mc kick out of the end of day
No one is saying he should ditch the End of Days.. but if Corbin still wants to protect it then he should win some matches using the Deep Six so his matches won't be too predictable.. it's like Randy's Punt Kick.. his official finisher is the RKO but everyone knows RKO can be kicked out of.. so if Randy suddenly uses the Punt then we know it's officially over..
The End of Days is Corbin performing a Rock Bottom on himself.
I'm kidding, but once I noticed that, it's hard to unsee it... haha.
Deep Six is a super impressive looking move, ever since I first saw it. While it might have become a good finisher if they started with Corbin getting pins using the move, but now it would just seem weird. Like why is he getting pins with this move now after all the kickouts from before? Plus, End of Days is super protected. Still best to go with that one as the Finisher and leave Deep Six as a good Signature.
If it is a hardcore match or something, Deep Six is a good one to use on a chair or into a table or something like that.
Something ironic about you saying Umaga was one of the greatest to lace up a pair of boots when he wrestled barefoot
Lol
Yeah Umaga's Pop-up Samoan Drop should have been a default finisher...
Or the diving slam since he weighs more than 300 pounds.
I honestly forgot how absolutely devastating his Samoan drop was. It's crazy to think people were taking that bump and not winding up in a hospital.
@@wcsr10 Ikr?
@@luisvelez1952 You mean the Samoan Splash? 🤔
@@ShaneDouglas713 yes the one that he goes to the top rope and jumps on you.
Definitely agree with Blue Thunder Bomb being Sami's finisher. The way he executes it looks incredible and seems more effective as a finisher than the Helluva kick.
Exactly, The Blue Thunder Bomb was probably a great way to see Sami Zayn's strength when performing the move. That's a thought I had in my mind
I'd like to see you take a full speed kick to the face and tell me that's not effective
@@wikkiddeathlord7372 yeah but the Helluva kick looks more like a signature set up
@@wikkiddeathlord7372 You know, simply saying the Blue Thunder Bomb seems more effective than the Helluva Kick doesn't necessarily diminish its efficacy to the point where its "not effective".
Isn't the point of wrestling to win?
A finisher needs to be the final move of match right?
Doesn't that mean the wrestler would be extremely tired before hitting the move?
Wouldn't you want to be able to hit your finishing move without worrying if you will be able to lift your opponent?
I don't think you would care if the viewers thought your move looked incredible would you?
"Seems more effective as a finisher"
Well the finisher only works if you believe it's the end of March rigjt?
Has sami won with the kick?
When he hits the kick do you believe the match is over?
Does he need to change it?
The best finishers are moves that can be hit on anyone.
Hogan and the leg drop
Jericho and the code breaker
Austin and the stuner
You know that
Forget the Cody Cutter, the Disaster Kick could be a finisher
they sure still use the move for Seth & call it the Dark Arrow
Yeah the Cody Cutter is just a springboard RKO/Diamond Cutter.
Aw shut up the Cody cutter is awesome the disaster kick is just a springboard spin kick
@@DateMike22 ok
@@davidsshorts7884 no
You forgot Kofi Kingston's SOS. That looks brutal
I've always loved the SOS looks so cool, and athletic! Almost poetic! It looks like something from a Bruce Lee flick! So cool!
I mean, the SOS was kind of kofi’s finisher but the problem was he low-key botched it a lot
I made SOS the default finisher for Kofi in WWE 2K
@@kennyking9347 it’s not easy to perform considering you’ll be tired by the time finish of the match comes
Brutiful
I agree 100% with Corbin and the Deep 6. Watching Edge take that bump was amazing not only because Corbin executed it so well, but also because those of us who have been long time fans of Edge knew he was protecting his neck with his hand and it didn't take away from the impact of the move not one little bit. I'm not a fan of Corbin but he's been a safe and consistent worker for the WWE.
I like End of Days but Deep Six could create som really cool reversals since the opponent is running towards Corbin.
But the End of Days is so cool maaaaaaaan
I love his EOD move. Deep 6 is great, but I think EOD is just that good to stay as his finisher. I honestly think it's the best finisher in wrestling right now. I get there are a few out there people probably like more, but EOD to me seems like it hurts and it just so fluid. Like curb stomp you have to wait for the guy to be on the ground, but with EOD it's like RKO where someone can be running at you or jumping off of something and run right into. Same can happen with Deep 6, but I just like that more of a power move that really hurts you but doesn't finish you. Maybe I would feel different if it was his finisher to begin with and he never did EOD.
@LegendaryOldwarrior honestly Baron Corbin's moveset is just really good and I wish they kept his old gimmick. I agree with you, it's just something about that EOD that hits incredibly different
@@fedoraleek1406gave him back his old gimmick
I love the dragon suplex, but i think the yes lock is better, mostly because making an opponent tap out, or give up is much more badass than a pinfall imo
He can just use both just like John Cena back in the days
@@AppreciateMnisi yeah! Exactly! Just like the STF, and the STFU!
@@matthewlane518 I agree with you 100% about the Yes! Lock. When you think about it, the late wrestling great "Judo" Gene LeBell invented the Yes! Lock when it was the LeBell Lock.
@@erikrosenquist9839 yep! Back before the called it the yes lock they called it by the correct name!
And a running knee as well
Honestly, Baron Corbin is seriously one of WWEs best talents. Truly a treasure. His booking is all over the place, but that man is a workhorse.
Elias’s elbow drop was actually his finisher in NXT.
Umaga had the best Samoan Drop, without a doubt. The way he completely threw himself onto his victim looked absolutely brutal. No one else does the Samoan Drop like that. Definitely should've been Umaga's finisher.
The one that he goes to the top rope and jumps down?
There are people who did it just as cleanly, but... Umaga had an unmatched impact.
This is why Gunther is incredible. His signature moves can finish matches
Elias Elbow drop move definetely reminds of Randy Savage same move . Wish he should've got proper push
While I agree that the Deep Six is an amazing move and can be a finisher, End Of Days is a thing of beauty
Umaga...I couldn't agree more. I like the Samoan Spike, but I always thought THAT should be a signature move while the pop up Samoan drop should be his finisher.
Totally agree with you about Sami's " Blue Thunder Bomb " & Cena's Stunner + Corbin's " Deep Six " as well
Tbh corbin's signature and finisher both looks awesome
@@ryderhopsup573 I know right? Both are awesome
As Excalibur would say in PWG, "no one kicks out of the falcon arrow" right before a wrestler kicks out of a falcon arrow.
Imagine if Deep Six was called End of Days and vice versa.
I wanna see burning hammer 😢
NGL, Corbin's whole moveset is so smooth and aesthetic that they should have turned him face with one of his revamps - a critically underrated talent.
Baron Corbin- Deep Six that move feels more like a Finisher then The End of Days.
end of days is better
I like both moves. Both are legit.
Link the two!
The thing is outside of those to moves he doesn't have my much
Two*
Kane should've kept the powerbomb and Umaga should've used the diving splash as a finisher
Cody Rhodes evolved by improving his ring skills after leaving WWE in 2016
And promo
Umaga never "laced a pair of boots" as he doesn't wear any 😂
He did as Jamal
Umaga should be a multiple time world champion.. it's shame that never happened
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
All of the 10 moves that should be legitimate finishers are flawless. The Dragon Suplex stands out as the finishing move of finishing moves. Tatsumi Fujinami invented the Dragon Suplex, Dragon Screw & Dragon Sleeper hold.
Some of these moves are SICK! To me, moves like this are what it's all about. I love the big slams and especially spinning ones or sit down powerbombs and crazy stuff like that. My favorite finisher of all time is Goldberg's Jackhammer. I was a huge fan of wrestling back then and would watch Goldberg every time he was on. I was always stoked watching him destroy his opponents with a cool twisting suplex like that. I'd always lift my head up and then bring it down as the person slammed the mat in a headbanging motion and say boom! Lol
Blue thunder Bomb as a finisher used one !! If you remember it was used on Aj Styles!! He used helluva kick and then blue thunder bomb ! Which looks cool
Sami Blue Thunder Bomb is so amazing, totally agree!!!
End of Days is STILL a badass move to me.
I'm reminded of Shawn Michaels' early career where he kept trying out new moves to try to make it his signature until someone finally pointed out that his superkick looked fantastic. Sometimes a wrestler has to adapt to whatever move looks best for them rather than what they objectively think is a good one. Sweet chin music became his signature move and the rest is history.
Point of note: Shawn Michaels rarely injured another wrestler in the ring, and was known as a safe wrestler for his opponents (a bit less so for himself), and yet his finisher and signature was kicking someone in the face.
Yup. Nowadays we have everyone doing a thousand superkicks every match but none come close to HBK's sweet chin music. There is something beautiful the way he does it.
Blue Thunder Bomb👌👌👌
I can see why Sami doesn't use the Blue Thunder as his finisher. Constantly hitting your tailbone on the mat several times a week will absolutely destroy your back and spine (ask Hulk Hogan). I'm not sure if Sami has considered this, but if he has, it makes sense, as he likely wants to preserve his body as he gets older.
He does use it every time he wrestles tho..
I know James Storm was only an NXT for blink of an eye, but I always liked his eight second ride bulldog finisher. I was always a fan of the bulldog in general. Rick Steiner was one of my favorite wrestlers
Aside from the Blue Thunder Bomb, Sami can use a standard brainbuster as a finisher.
well he just used it at wm40 on gunther to win the ic title, guess he saw your comment.
@@theviper542 that wasn't a standard brainbuster but a buckle brainbuster or a BRAINBUSTAH!!!!!
I can remember Kane winning a match on Raw in the early 2000s, maybe 02 or 03 with his diving closeline and I really liked how that being the finish caught me off guard
Baron Corbin is seriously underrated! His moveset is top-notch, and the way he executes every move with precision is a sight to behold. He's definitely one of my favorite underrated superstars - watching him in the ring is always a pure joy!
Still nice mash up bro.. After seeing Wooski in recent interviews i think they aint capping about him being good.. mans diction was great quixk witted.. amazing watchin the brothers united in an interview for real
- When Ezekiel used the 'Diving Elbow Drop' it looked so damn good... but they went for a Leg Lock instead, which wasn't that bad, but wasn't half as impressive either. They completely missed that one.
- I totally agree about Cody's finisher. 'Crossroads' is fine, but 'Cody Cutter' could be the RKO of this generation, kinda. Booked correctly, it would look way more impressive than 'Crossroads', and would add a lot more suspense and shock to the ending of his matches.
- Despite being amazing, the problem I see with the 'Superplex' + 'Falcon Arrow' is that it requires too much effort from both parties (I mean, you just don't pull off a Superplex outta nowhere; the bigger the guy you're wrestling, the harder) and could take too long. That would make it a little anticlimactic as a finisher, especially for a guy who often delivers fast-paced matches like Seth Rollins.
- Roman's 'Rough Rider' looks powerful... but I don't think it looks like a finishing move for such a character at this point. He needs something imposing. The guy totally owned the Spear, and it's great because it's one of the most visually impressive finishing moves in wrestling (especially for a guy his size), where you just drive your opponent to the ground, towards his defeat; and the Superman Punch is just bombastic. Changing any of those for a 'Rough Rider' would be like stripping Shawn Michaels of the 'Sweet Chin Music', or Triple H of the 'Pedigree', to give them a lariat or a Dropkick. Same with Cena and Kane, but cool moves anyway.
- Umaga's 'Pop-up Samoan Drop' was brutal. Please give it to Solo Sikoa and stop this 'Samoan Spike' bollocks, which might have been "okay" then but now looks just ridiculous.
- 'Blue Thunder Bomb' looks beautiful every time Sami does it, but I think nothing beats a good ol' kick in the face. However, that 'Helluva Kick' + 'Blue Thunder Bomb' combo is great, it would be amazing if he did that as his finisher.
Love your videos
Sami Zayn's Blue Thunder Bomb is impressive
Excellent video on 10 amazing wrestling moves 🦾🦾
The Samoa drop doesn't hurt u could get small amount air out ur body but after 3 deep breaths u can kick out but the drop looks cool
Something tells me that umaga isnt gonna be changing his finisher anytime soon.
I agree with Elias’s top rope elbow drop… that move should have made him beat seth rollins at MITB 2018
I'm a sucker for a good spinebuster. Arn Anderson and HHH both had great looking spinebusters.
Loved how they could hit it out of no where too. Always got me hyped. I likes Batistas as well
Yeah the Springboard Stunner could've been Cena's secondary finisher...
Great video some of them I agree with some of them I don't
That coddy cutter versus the RKO story line 👌 would make for great cinema 🤩
I think you’re severely undervaluing the importance of a transition signature. Those moves come at the climax of matches and a lot of these moves you’re highlighting are perfect at what they’re for
One of the elements WWE should bring from the Kings Road style is the in ring psychology. in Kings Road any move could end a match depending on how the psychology of the match is going, any given signature move could end a match & maybe develop a super finisher for super matches brings in an element of wonder & intrigue.
Thank For The Top 10 Video 🙊🤯🥰😍😁💗
The Pop Up Samoan Drop is such a badass move and is versatile as a single's move and as a tag team move during Umaga's 3 Minute Warning Days.
4:07 - 4:11 Nice transition
For a lot of these moves vs what are the actual finishers has one think back to WWE's pre-pandemic touring schedule where most wrestlers were working 100-150+ shows per year... yes, most of these moves do look pretty good compared to the finishers they use, but it would be pretty easy to see the performers putting a lot of wear and teat on their bodies if they had to do all these higher impact moves 2-4 times per week
That kick by Sami definitely doesn’t need to be his finishing move
I was worried that Corbin wasn’t going to be on this list. Good looking out having him at number one. He takes A LOT of hate but his move set is solid and Deep Six is one of the best looking moves in all of wrestling. I think so anyways. Plus, it’s one of my favourite Matthew Good Band songs 😄
Corbon really seems like a well respected and safe worker must be why there trying so revitalise his career by sending him to nxt
This is turning into cool moves list. The superplex into falcon arrow is a transitional move
Highly agree with 1 and 2 especially with how Corey Graves says Deep Six
John Cena's springboard stunner would be a whole lot better than the running fist move he did as a finisher and I agree 💯 that the deep six is a lot better than the end of Days I like that move but the deep six is to me harder and much cooler than that
This is a great list. Bang on. Umaga's Samoan Drop was always amazing and should have been finisher, 100% Umaga for HOF. Yes Corbin's Deep 6 should be his finisher and can we please get Lone Wolf Corbin back and a proper push for him as a proper threat rather then a gimic character
Roman reign’s sit out crucifix power bomb would be a dope finisher for him as well
yeah that’d much better than a leg lariat. personally i’ve never liked the leg lariat as a finisher
John Cena's Springboard Stunner move is underrated . Stone Cold Stunner move even inspired him
What?
Just no. Most of the time he botches it. If you want some offense he actually made look good, there his Code Red.
Kane’s brother did a similar move as a setup, which might be why he didn’t use it as a finisher
It mite not be a popular opinion but I think cenas stunner is cool because it takes great timing by both superstars, not as good as the RKO from no ware of course, the timing on that is beyond incredible! But still even thou im not much of a cena fan (as a rassler, im a huge fan of him as being a good person) i still think its impressive
Seth Rollins did use the Superplex Falcon Arrow combo as his finisher for a bit...
Also the End of Days, I modified it to be a swinging ddt basically you do the swing but last once the apponit swings back you swap your arm over their head and form a ddt, or as I like to call it either the SMD.
Umaga didn’t even wear boots😂
4:55 That'll make a great wallpaper tbh😍
Cody cutter remind's me of cena rope stunner when he used during a match with rusev at wrestlemania
baron corbin is so underrated. hes one of the better wrestlers on the feds lineup even though he does lack that superstar charisma to be a top guy. its super cool that hes in nxt now propping up and putting over new guys.
I agree with all of these especially Sami Zayn’s and Cody Rhodes them using the Blue Thunder Bomb and Cody Cutter as finishers would be great!
Thanks for uploading videos for us plz give me a heart ❤❤❤
They should bring Corbin with a strong storyline! He deserves that
That pop up samoan drop is a LEGIT air knocker imagine 300+ pounds landing on your ribcage
🔥 VIDEO
The reason many of these aren’t finishers (at least the de facto finisher) is their ability to be used on all opponents. Suplexes aren’t good on larger opposites. So DB couldn’t use it on Kane, SR would have trouble hitting the superplex arrow on BL. Finishers are unique, can’t change too much unless really needed. Like randy Orton going to the punt for a heel move. And Cody has used the cross Rhodes forever. Swapping to the cutter wouldn’t make sense, and it would shorten his career using it as a finisher like Randy.
Never cared for the falcon arrow until Seth did the Superplex/Falcon Arrow Combo, that move made me respect Seth so much more
Heavily disagree on Cena. The move he should have kept was the Code Red. The Stunner was awkward looking but his Code Red looked nice.
Deep Six just looks so wonderful specially if done on someone Corbin can easily pick up..
RIP Umaga
Talking on John Cena's stunner, I would switch it for his top rope tornado ddt - he did a couple of times with the new arsenal and is much crisp coming from him.
Nothing cant beat the ol rock bottom! 🤣🤣🤣
Rock Bottom is his finisher. Rock only did the People’s Elbow after hitting a rock bottom or spine buster
Kane got me thank you Wrestlelamia
All the respect in the world to the Helluva Kick, but the Blue Thunder Bomb is my favourite move in all of wrestling. It's simple, but flashy and very pleasing to watch.
For No.9, I believe even Shawn Michaels use them as signature, too!
Helluva kick into Thunder bomb 🤑
John Cena's AA is perfect for him and it's a legendary finisher, I think it's perfect
The pop-up Samoan drop is definitely very very cool.
And I definitely agree with Sami, the kick always looks so fake. The Thunderbomb actually looks sick.
I disagree with Corbin though, End of Days is so surprising and unique.
I can definitely agree with Cody Rhodes Cody Cutter and Sami Zayn Blue Thunder Bomb. Cody does his Cody cutter very well and it is incredible.
The kane flying clothesline always looked terrible to me
The Cody Cutter is honestly my most favourite move in WWE besides the RKO and Peoples Elbow
1:24 Hey Look, There's Me At The ThunderDome. Yay! ^^
The Blue Thunder bomb is my custom characters finisher in WWE 2K 23
I've been saying to my friend for years that Seth's Falcon Arrow should have been his finisher, especially during 2017, when he stopped using the Pedigree. The Revolution Knee just didn't have the same effect
I like this video but I don't fully agree. But still nice video
Kane using the clothesline would be so bad.
Theres a common theme with why some of these are not finishers.
Dragon Suplex for DB, Seth Superlex/Falcon Arrow, Blue Thunder for Sami were not able to be finishers due to size differences. WWE has typically had alot of very big super heavyweights, that those three guys just cannot hit those moves on. The only people who get away with having those kind of lift finishers are the truly big guys because they CAN lift anyone.
To be fair, in modern WWE its probably possible to pull it off, as theres very few really, really big heavyweights anymore (and most of the very big guys that remain are probably athletic enough they probably work enough to take the move). But a few years back, you'd be looking at Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry, Omos etc.
Deep six is not near to end of days.. But it is good also
